during my time as tank I learned never to say "heal" "healme" all thanks to some healers who made my day during pugs
I want to share some of the responses I got when I used the "H" word: OH! is that what am suppose to do ? I thought am hear to supervise your performance.. one healer ran to a pack of mobs and started yelling "tank tank tank omg tank" one healer got fed up by a rogue who kept standing on things on the ground and kept yelling to be healed and he stood behind the rogue breathing down hes nick and yelling "DPS DPS OMG hit harder noob OH c'moon more dps HIT HIT HIT" and many less epic I cant remember atm |

It is a good way to get a healer riled. Nothing more annoying than when you're healing your little touche off, and the dps - standing firmly and resolutely in the pretty circles on the floor - feels that the problem here must be that you need instruction on what your job is. XD
Am glad you've learnt better :) We promise not to stand next to you and yell 'Go! Go! Go! Go!' |

Well tbh, are you surprised? What else would the healer do but heal? It's just silly to spout "Heal", either the healer will do his job and heal you or else you'll die, simple as.
When I tank, if my health goes dangerously low I'll pop whatever cd is available and is appropriate, if I still die I'll prolly question what's going on if the skada window I have shows that healing is low, but while I'm alive and tanking I tank, I don't whine at the healer (or dps). Personally I don't care to make an issue of it but a tank that feel the need to instruct his team-members what to do seldom is half as good as he tend to believe. |

during my time as tank I learned never to say "heal" "healme" all thanks to some healers who made my day during pugs Dude... your DK tank. I could write a bible about how !@#$ty DK players and specially tanks are. One of the worst tanks are DK tanks and not as class but as player behavior. Rarely hae problems with Palas warriors or dudus but DKs... everyime I join dungeon and see DK that I know that this joker gonne wipe us. |

Ugh, I hate panicking tanks. As a rule, if you have to shout for heals, the group is either already wiping and the healers can't get you up because they're busy trying to patch up what's left of the rest of the raid, or you're actually fine and the healers don't care that you're at 20% health because there's no significant damage incoming in the next 20 seconds anyway and you'll be healed up by then.
Tanks also tend to only notice the big heals, and not realize that most of the healing they get will be from HoTs, stray AoE and miscellaneous healing effects. If you look at raid logs, you'll often find that only about 25% of the healing taken by the tank is from single target direct heals. The rest is from HoTs and AoE healing.
I enjoy not healing people until they're out of the fire. If they survived, they get healed back up to full. If they die while moving out, they're screwed. Sometimes I'll toss them a Healing Wave or Riptide while they're running to make it seem like I care. Similarly, people who take more damage than they should from avoidable mechanics don't get healed up to full in between. If they survive anyway, it's all good. If not, they'll hopefully learn something. |
I think you misunderstood me there am not here to make fun of healers nor to insult any1 I just wanted to share some epic comebacks from healers when they get mistreated and for DK they are as good as the person playing them just like any class or role in this game its so obvious I feel cheesy even saying it |

Yup I see that now that I misread your post a little :P Ty for the laughs ;) and for DK they are as good as the person playing them just like any class or role in this game its so obvious I feel cheesy even saying it Absolutely. One of the best tanks I've ever met and played with is a DK tank guildie, and the first truly skilled person I met in the game was a DK. Back in wrath it was certainly notable how many people made DK's just because they were attracted to the bad***-image and being as childish as possible. You occasionally still come across that kind of DK but not very much more than many other classes. |

Hahahhaha! *makes mental notes to use that one!* |

I usually go with ''Sorry but it is my duty to not help the stupid survive'' if someone constantly stands in fire. I will resurrect them later though, chances are they don't know where instance entrance is anyhow. >.<

The illusion of caring should be quiet and gentle, so they do think you care, but aren't entirely convinced ... if you can keep some of these people worrying about their health, then maybe they will start to pay attention to what's hurting them. I had an interesting quip from a tank a few days ago, after 2 wipes I pointed out that we were in a level 79 dungeon, and that although he was at the correct level for the dungeon, his nice shiny pvp gear was for a level 70 player. His response was "well I'm not upgrading". |

It's funny watching dps who stand in the fire realise they're dying and run away from the mobs to wait for healing. I feel when they do that they're learning - slowly, but learning nonetheless. |

What really ticks me off is people going "Rez plz" after they die whilst we're still in combat .. or even when I'm already half way done with the rez spell >.< I got some laughs in LFR when I replied to that with "NO, we're standing here flailing our arms for fun". I think the hunter got it, he didn't say much after that.
Haha. |

"omg healer ... -.-" after dying to sylvanas' ghoul aoe
DK being angry with me for hurting his DPS by gripping him out of Benedictus' shadow wave, despite the tank already having moved the boss out of it. He was just standing still probably looking for his death coil button before moving. "HEALS???" after dying to fading light on Ultraxion LFR "RESSSS" after dying to Hagara's icewave, along with 6 other players, among which 2 tanks and a healer that we already had to CR. My favourites are melee dps getting hit by some random crap on the ground, keyturning around, moving 10 yards, keyturning towards the boss, typing "heal me", wait until they are 100% hp, then run back in. Only to repeat the process 5 seconds later. |
