hunter or Mage?

So i'm about to choose wether i should level my 66 hunter to 85 or my mage who is a only 30-40 atm...
TBH i like my hunter more than i like my mage, but i've heard a lot of hunters complaining about their class is the worst in WoW atm, but i've also heard that mages got a boring rotation. Can anyone please just tell me if this is true or wrong? |

hunter most enjoy able
mage easiest both equally dps mages are better in pvp , bm isnt bm eather hunter maybe bad in arenas but in pve and bgs they are realy good, so don't get confsed if people says hunters sucks |

Hunter's are the most handsome.
Hunter QQ is mostly about progression raiding and high-level battlegrounds - I doubt you're going to feel that. Mages are too easy. |

hunter is the worst range dps class at the moment, but they are a easy class to have a ok dps for bad player's. but to be a good hunter dps you need to now your rotation and not wast and global CD. so you need to make a call for what your going to do at any given point. i other word when are your CD up and do you have the focus to do will not missing improved steady shot (MM) or a trap proces (SV).

How can you argue that hunters > mage in any aspect of this game?

Ask yourself the following : do you want people to say "oh that was a skilled hunter" rather than "ah op mage" in pvp ?

Mage is made for skilled players ... this days u can move while atacking with hunter ... u dont even need range ... ammo .. haha wtf .. this class is joke

Mages? skill? lmao, My craply geared frost mage bursts for far more in a shatter than anything my hunter does derp freeze isn't skill buddy.

Depends on what you want to do really, pvp or pve...although now that I think about it. The answer is mage to both, if you care about doing more dps/being easier to succeed with in pvp environments.
If I were you though, I would play the class thats more enjoyable to you regardless of it doing better dps etc. Hunters are more or less middle of the pack dps-wise. Mages on the other hand are one of the best. PvP-wise Mages are far easier to play in Arena as well as in BG's. A lot of people are of the opinion, that Hunters are terrible in PvP, which is not exactly true. It just takes A LOT more effort to do well with them and if you suck, you will get your butt handed to you big time. They have to deal with clunky mechanics (scatter -> trap launcher -> trap is an abomination. Using one cc to be able to use another...thats bs mechanics right there) and are very susceptible to dots and have basically no self-healing. (Chimera Shot Heal doesnt count because its terribad) But there is one thing that is great about them: It is insanely rewarding to own people as a hunter, because its so much more difficult compared to other classes. But if you're "bad" at pvp, but still want to succeed at it...pick a mage. |

Oh, do yourself a favor and ignore this guy. He's either a troll or plain terrible. Hunters have a higher skill ceiling than mages...by far. This post reeks of him having been owned by some hunter in full ruthless while wearing zero resilience in a random bg. Yes, mages are for "skillled players" but it takes far more skill to succeed with a hunter than with a mage. |

I deleted mage as it is to easy that you fell really dumb after a few hours of play, hunter on the other hand is a class to be mastered, when and if u do so you will be very happy with hunter. Mage is not an option for me, besides there is nothing so enjoyable as it is to kill those frosty !@#$ers that thinks they own the pvp battleground or arena. Plus if you are skiled you will own rogues as well which is other of my favourite thing to do, so yes you can if u skilled own mages and rogues without problem. PVE i don’t play much so i don’t care about that aspect of the game much. But for pvp i enjoy playing hunter.

Hunters Are more fun to play and mages Boring in My opinion.

I agree that mages do heavy damage, but still pvp isnt just about the damage. You still need to survive others which can be hard as a mage depending on what class you fight. When I fight against hunters I try to keep it all on close range as the hunter would just kill me before I could even cast a frostbolt. Using Deep Freeze wouldnt make it better as the hunter all ready popped the "reflect spell thingy", if the hunter's not retarded.

If you want to have a good Hunter in PvP, you just need to know what attacks to use. I know I've always used Marksmanship and it's always lead to KO
