Hello,

So, anyone who plays on Horde Azuremyst has probably noticed a rapidly dwindling population in the last few months/year.

I brought up my concern with a GM today and asked why there hasn't been any action taken by Blizzard to resolve this problem by offering Free Realm Transfer onto Azuremyst.

He informed me that I should contact a "Community Rep" on the forums to have Azuremyst Horde available for Free Realm Transfer.

Apparently our Community Rep is Slorkuz but I'm not sure how to contact him.

i strongly support this idea , i have seen a few ppl i know transfering to difrent servers since they are of the opinion the server is dead

its is also harder to get group achievments like raiding allied citys or 40 man pve raids as u simply can not get enough ppl together for it

i belive we are listed as medium populated but sometimes it just looks like there is no one around

I think that would b great for our realm if a free realm transfer into Azuremyst was possible, there seems a constant stream of ppl leaving Horde side for alliance or Azuremyst completely if they don't want to faction change. The population has always been out of balance in favour of ally and would b great to get a population boost for everyone still here, might even get a few friendly faces back too

I also support this, the population has greatly reduced lately and its only going to get worse. I dont see why we have to pay to transfer to another realm, blizzard need to act on this but when i goto free migrations we arent even listed!

Azuremyst needs some loving! i too support this, it would a great help to allow people in our realm to get together to do more pug raid's even or the inexperienced. We've always ways know that this realm is ally populated since Wintergrasp at least.
Allowing new people to just us who want a fresh start would be a great idea and very much appreciated.

Yea this is a problem,

The population of this realm is really low, its impossible to find pugs or attempt progressive raiding.
Don't even ask about raiding allience cities!!

i Have to agree with everyone above

Trying to get the "For the Horde"acheivement is nigh on impossible these days.
Getting enough active players for 25 man raids is difficult enough as a one off let alone progression raiding.

We need fresh meat!

I believe this is a good idea, and the action should be taken. However to remind people on the horde it isn't too bad compared to realms such as silvermoon, where horde is like 1%. and stormscale where the horde is like 99%. But as said first, i still believe they should make a free migration here.

Blizz made a good start with listing Azuremyst as a new player realm, now if that only meant they'd all rolled their characters on Horde side.

funny , i was woundering how there suddenly were like 20 low levels running around at silvermoon

and how allies were killing there NPC's ...

This isn't a new problem, Horde on this realm has been low populated for the past two years.

Free migration would be great for the Horde side.

However, if you do a /who of the starter zones you'll see that there are so many new players joining this realm. Perhaps we've been listed for new players, which is a possitive move too.

I transfered from Saurfang to play with friends on Azuremyst.The 2 realms are totally different on saurfang, trade chat, was an active enviroment with pug groups always running, looking for players etc. However Azuremyst, is pritty much dead, the only groups that attempt, raid content are guild groups, and it seems, most, if not all guilds are struggling to get a group together, now as well. Somthing really needs to happen to this realm, as it feels empty, and i feel the realm only has the medium population status due to the high level of Allied players.

Please, please fix, free transfers are very much needed

I moved my main away from this realm 2 months ago. Best thing I ever did.

Also, I do not like the fact the realm changed to "New Players". I pay subscription charges just for my realm to decrease in skill and have noobs asking stupid questions? That doesn't seem like a gaming experience worth 8.99 a month to me.

Anyone with any talent left here do yourselves a favour and move away.

You were one of those noobs once upon a time. I welcome all new players to the Horde and gladly take it on myself to help them out.

Try not to go too much off-topic though, since once we have generated enough interest I'm going to make a new thread in the Customer Support area linking to this thread.

While the New Players thing is a nice step in the right direction, it is a very slow solution to a very immediate problem.

A large influx of new players now will mean a moderate influx of high level players in 6-12 months. While this sort of steady growth benefits blizzard, it's certainly not in the best interests of the current active high level community.

Lets keep this subject rolling, and get more voices into this thread, please ask your guild masters to put a link to this thread in the Message of the Day for a little while so that more people are aware of it.
