I don't know how to close the topic, so i decided to delete the original message since some people are taking this thread to the level of those i intended to stop. go find somewhere else to act like children, thank you.

Too many variables on what makes a player "the best around". Individually you don't have to be amazing to do well in PvE/PvP. Thats just my opinion, people can get boosted in arena teams as they can in guilds aswell.

Agreed, although he didnt list the best PVE players, but guilds as a whole. But even that is relative since it depends on raid times & days.

Of course you can get boosted, i've seen many offering boost to 2400+ rating in arena, not on this server though. it's not that likely anyone on this server gets boosted significantly, so those lists will tell who is has the best rank on the server and what rating they are on. the intention is to stop the endless threads of who's the best whatever...

That's because i don't know where to look up such information. if you have some places to look it up feel free to share it and i will add it.
the only intention is to give people a place to look it up instead of those childish discussions about who's better than who. you can't argue with facts, even though there is other factors like raid times and days like you mention, but a player on 2300 rating is far better than a player on 2100 rating PvP wise.

There isn't any, you have gearscore which is 100% pointless since most people (especially tanks) change gear based on specific encounters....

I do think the links you listed are the "best" you can do, but for example Tank X is better then Tank Y, but they're both in Guild X. Yet Tank Y has better gear... So it's never possible to judge this based on "numbers" which can be found. Atleast not PVE wise, PVP you have Arena teams, so if they rank high they're prolly better at PVP then i am :)

Thankfully we all know the best warrior around so theres one less class to worry about.

as i agree with the pve part i dont with the pvp one
high rating doesnt say much at all
there are players who got their class buffed and went from 1200 to 2000+
example feral currently rogue with vial currently
if prot pvp would be viable again for high rating
as in "african turtle cleave" (prot war/holy pally/hunter)
pvp heroes have funny names for comps
you could probably score pretty high as where now they arent much for pvp

there are a lot of skillfull players on this realm
yet not suprisingly mostly not the ones that shout they are haha

I completely agree that class buffs can carry players a long way. i'm surprised no one mentioned rmp tho :p
but i'm not talking about low rankings, yes 2k isn't high, but whether you play on 2k or 2,3k is a big difference. of course 2,3k is a small challenge to some players, but they are not the main group of this server, so i get your points about the rankings might not be telling everything, but to take naiki for an example, with just under 2.4k experience in 3s, is clearly much more skilled than another warrior with 2k experience.

it should not be mistaken as a reliable rank ladder, but as a guide on who is topping at the moment you check the ladders, thereby the currently highest ranked players.

Who even cares? No one plays to be the best on a server which lacks EVERYTHING including skill. We get queue'd against Germans.

To be honest, i've been on this server for 3 !@#$ing years and nobody acknowledges me even though I am not the worst around.

TL;DR, You need to know people, to have people, to make people, to do people, on this server to make anything worthwhile.

Loving the pathetic attempts to hide huge ego's by some people in this thread.

So bad that even though I've never said anything nasty to you, you still try to make the point that i'm awful. Something must be upsetting you, is it because you know that alot of people on this so called '!@#$' realm are infact much, much better than you.
