Right, so get this, I was doing that frustrating, and dull raid, Ahn Qiraj Temple. All's going well, until the last boss. Now, I go inside the boss, and I die. Now, i'm told to run in, and I do. Bugger, the boss is dead, I can get some loot, I did damage the boss, but no achievement for me? Seriously? So I get on to the GMs, and get essentially, a load of double talk about changing game codes, and i'm not eligible for the achievement. I told them I was not backing down, because even if I was dead, my corpse was in the instance, I hurt the boss, and any soldier would get the medal posthumously, so why can't I have the damn achievement? I am not messing around, waiting for the bloody instance locks, to do the long, dull, horrid place again, for about 30 golds worth of junk. So then i'm met by a threat, stop making tickets they say. I can't describe my feelings now without swearing. Seriously, i'm that upset, and annoyed. The GMs aren't helping me. The compromise, of course, is lending me the sword of a thousand truths so I can do it, or a 'merry' band of GMs run me through it. The achievement says nothing about having to be in the instance, all it says is "Kill C'thun", not "Kill C'thun, and you must have not released your spirit." But I know I deserve this achievement, and i'm told to post on the forums. So here it is. Sort it out, Blizzard.

You made it to 85 and 4k achieve points without realising not to release on boss fights?

plus you can solo upto twins then 2 man it from there in 20 minutes, i dont see the problem.

Tried soloing it, too hard, tried two manning it, can't do it. I'm not doing the whole thing again for something that I deserve anyway.

That's not the point. The point is that I deserve it. It's not just about me either, the whole thing needs sorting.

Pretty sure you need at least 3 players for C'thun, because of his "eating tentacle" (or whatever you call it).

The GMs always direct players to the forums.

Besides, do you call this "shoddy service"?
The GMs are there for helping people out. Like if something bugs or you get stuck etc and cannot proceed.
All you do is claiming to deserve something and expecting the GMs to give it to you. (No offence)

You died in C'thuns stomach, clearly you didn't deserve the achievement ;]

Never before have i seen such a stubborn so and so about 10 achievement points.

My guild did Throne of the Four Winds fir the guild achievements. As we are a small group of people we had to pug two to fill the raid up. On Al'akir most people die, one of ours rushed and clicked the Release button. Causing us not to get the achievement... Yes, it really sucked.

We deserved the achivement. At least just as much as you did yours. But so is the rules. Just eat the elephant and head back in after the next reset! At least you get rep in AQ40 ;-)

I lost an item to a player who isn't as good as me, I'm gonna go report this to the gm's and cry about it on the forums, and the GM's should give me the item, because I deserved it.

But the achievement doesn't say, "Don't release your spirit". So, that's neither here nor there. And as for the argument about the GMs having set rules to follow, blah blah, [Insert Cobblers' here...], is it not, surely agreed that it is a load of [Insert swear word with the pre-fix of bull]? It just sounds a large amount stupid. And my main argument is; Posthumous. I died, wow, lovely, but I should still get the achievement, as a soldier gets the medal. Stop giving me pre-typed GM messages, and actually think, like a human being, and then tell me, i'm talking wet. What happened to the customer is always right? I may have lost faith in [Insert rant about politics, and the west], but I never thought i'd loose hope in the suggestion and concern box.

Nope, rules are there for a reason, if you believe that Blizzard should make an exception in your case you can contact the email you contacted earlier :)

The customer is not always right, he never has been and certainly not in these times when customers are usually suffering from overentitlement issues like you are.

To the OP, you weren't there when the boss was killed, therefor by abiding the rules you 'do not deserve' the achievement. Never ever release your spirit. It's your own fault and you can blame yourself for not getting the achievement. So instead of spamming the GM's about your own fault, kick yourself in the !@# for releasing at a boss before it's a wipe. I understand it sucks, but it really, really, really ain't that hard to grab 5 people who want to do the instance if you only care about the last boss achievement.

But it doesn't say not to. Right, i'm getting ******* sick of this conversation now, it's clear, Blizzard lets people down, -again-.

Sorry my English isn't good enough for you to understand, that's racial abuse. Can you not work out, in two seconds, what I clearly meant?
