What do you guys think about the realm population from laughing skull

I know for a long while we have been a relativly low pop server, but recently it seems to be getting worse esp on the alliance side, and from what i have heard today at least 1 more full guild is transfering off.

Do you guys think its about time blizz opened us up to recive free character transfers from higher pop realms or maybe even merged to servers together

It would be good to find out what you think, also also what blizz thinks

I agree 100% with you mate. It's getting worse and worse everyday imo.A lot of players are xfering to higher populated realms like outland,silvermoon,twisting nether etc.So what I think blizzard should do is either merge us with a similar server like ours or give us all fcm to any other realm and shut this one down.

Nice to hear i have no intention of leaving either, we just need to get people to post on this now and the Forum GM's can then do something about it

ONLY reason for this realms population is its community.

There are veteran, hardcore players on LS and thats killing the realm.All newbie, casual players leaving realm because none helping them to starting raids or giving a chance.

Here is my story, if you want to listen.

Been LS like 1 year and done bwd, bot and totfw when 4.2 came.During 4.2, only killed lord ryolith one time (it was trash farm tho, just tried lord ryolith and killed).I was thinking the reason is me, i'm not good enough for raids.I accepted that fact and kept playing for a while, then migrated to Outland late times of 4.2 and someone gave me a chance for FL.Done raid on 2nd day of my migration and next week defeated 2 bosses on heroic.Done 5/7 hc before 4.3 came and the first week of 4.3 done DS 8/8.Next week we gonna try 2nd DS boss on heroic.

Well, that showed me i know my class, i know how to raid and i was wrong to thinking i'm not good enough.The realm will keep dying when community won't change itself.

There were FCM from Outland to Laughing Skull.There were chance for me to return back my first realm.But can someone give me a reason for me to return back ? For not inviting raids again ? For keep solo playing ? For trying things by myself ? For what ?

you moved from a realm with a pop of around 4-5k to a realm with a pop of around 23-24k and you got into more raids... surprising...

heres 12 guilds that currently have killed anything in heroic mode in DS 2 guilds that have killed 6/8

outland have 68 guilds that have killed something in DS heroic 14 that have killed more then the top 3-12 on LS and 4 at 6/8

Yes you are right and guess the problem.There are new and casual players on LS just like Outland.If none helps casuals and newbies, they will move to another realm.And you blaming leavers for it.How ironic.

Not you, just take a look at recruitment topics from another realms in this forum and you will see.None wants someone to leave and not helping them too.

ofcourse no one wants people to leave seeing how LS is pretty much dieing and id try to help ppl if they asked for help and i actually could be arsed to help them at the time but i dont think i was asked for help more then 2-3 times during 2011 if even that and cross realm recruitment should go into

Thats not the point.When i asked for some guilds for joining and raiding with them, they asked me my raid experience.I said i am newbie and don't have any experience but know my class well, they all refused my application.

Been a raiding guild before my migration.They said there will be 2 raiding teams and i will be on 2nd team.Guild master was leading team 1 and his alt was leading team 2.Team 1 was always going for new contents and team 2 was always going for old contents, even wotlk raids.He was thinking we are not good enough for FL and was not helping us for it.

So do you invite a not experienced player for DS ? It is the point.I wasn't have any experience while starting FL but done 5/8 hc in like 2 months.

i would prolly not invite someone with no experience for a DS run since i wouldent want a wipe feast and if you alrdy have killed bosses it makes it easier to see if you are complete !@#$ or not so you join a badish guild and kill a couple bosses with them and then you can join better and better guilds if your after better progression

btw your old guild master kind of sounds like an %^-

Any chance they had 5/7hc on farm when u joind? If so, I hope u enjoyed being carried

id love a FCM or a server merge even if the FCMs we have had so far havent rly made any noticable diffrence to me but what about a perma FCM?! :o

or the ppl over at blizz could come up with something else then FCM to fix server imbalance

He said he just formed a new guild and need members and asked me if i join his guild.Don't think all had 5/7 hc since wiped too many times because of silly things again and again (and they all weren't my fault ofc)

This is the main reason.You don't get newbies to your raids and not giving them a chance but don't want them to leave realm.

As i said before, i had not any experience when going FL on Outland and done raid 2nd day of my migration.You call it boost or whatever you call, if i ever get that boost on LS, i wouldn't leave.
