Hey lovely guys of the forum, first off, let me apologize, I am sure you see a thousand of these posts, but sadly my server is rather dead, I'm horde on Darkspear, and I'm ready to go alliance again (as I was in the beginning), I'm a casual PvEer, and I adore PvP, also love finding new friends, doing old transmog runs etc.
I have to ask, is this a fairly active server? Again, I'm sure you see people write this a lot, but this server seems to have a much better community than I have ever seen before, not to mention its own radio (WOOO).
Please, don't tell me "omg go stormscale" or outland, been there, got the t-shirt, didn't like it
I value a friendly community much more than über skilled people (not that you aren't skilled, by all means)
So, for any potential response, and any potential tips, Thank you in advance! :)

Honestly, no, but it's not completely dead either.

Everyone on Nordrassil can play and lick their elbow at the same time, this somewhat limits the population.

Seeing as you were suggesting Alliance, it's not actually that bad. It's just your average sort of PvE realm really. I've yet to run into an arrogant hardcore elitist on this realm, most of the raiders I've spoken to are relatively friendly.

Plenty of guilds flying around these days, you're often spoilt for choice. Though I will admit thing have picked up lately in terms of random Trade chat.

Oh and we usually get completely flattened in the Battleground front by the German realms, they must do nothing but PvP every second of the day.

We moved here from Darkspear, though we were alliance, but i agree Darkspear horde is extremley dead

Ah another darkspear exile, so, knowing what Darkspear horde is like, would I then be positively surprised by this server? I mean, What goes on in BGs is the same on every realm, but I just would like to get a guild that does some transmog runs, does some raiding and where I can find some friendly nice PvP partners etc, I'm very much casual at what I do, I just do it a lot hehe

Since our arrival we have found the community here very friendly, yes /2 can be interesting with usual trolls ect , if you are looking for a new home then poke one of us, were happy to have social casual members, we are a raiding guild thats in our early days on this realm.

Yes, and I've no complaints so far ^^;

I'm offended you think I'm not an elitest :(

But yeah, server is decent enough, guilds at every level to suit you across the server. Sure you can find one which'll do transmog and some PVP up to 1800 no problem.

Unofrtunately, no matter how hard i try, I can't succeed in licking my own elbow .. I get ever so close but it's always out of range :(

More on topic, most of the guilds here are quite casual (at least in terms of raid nights per week) with most at around 3 nights a week and seeing as a lot of us have been on the server a fairly long while there is a good community, although some people love to stir up drama just to keep the forums a bit more lively than just recruitment threads. Also with regards to raiding I spose it depends whether you prefer 10 or 25 man. Since shared lockouts a lot of previously 25man guilds have cut down to 10 man out of choice or neccessity. I don't know if many guilds organise transmog loot runs with a few guildies, but you can generally find one in trade, or quite easily make your own on alliance side.
