You might be interested, last time (long ago) I've been doing this, you could pick quest, see what npc you get, then abandon it, then pick again and have different npc. Dunno wheter they fixed it ever since.

I got my second alliance char up to 85 and I'm doing the dailys with that one too now. Still no Thassarian, but now I got 1 more that I have a chance on getting him on! :D
