well slaughter off lore has gone so far so if goes futher you could skip it entirly and give all classes to all races.

I think it sounded better then paladins and shamans had their lore and organation intact. But no TBC we must have horde paladins and alliance shamans and made upp bull storis of how belf and spacegoats and later cows became what they never had been.

How is your unbeleavble story how the humans that not even survived the pleauge become Paladins? True human paladins was imune to the pleauge.

Unded paladin would be more proper than cow pally

They don't. Undead priests are cultists and acolytes. The only reason undead priests have holy abilities and a holy talent tree is because the devs were (and still are) far too lazy to make unique race-classes, hence why classes have the EXACT same abilities regardless of race/faction.
And what's up with the "priests = paladins"-thing? The only thing priests and paladins have in common is the fact that they both draw their power from the light. Their principles and ideals might be similar, but they're not identical.
Priests are servants of the light, mending the wounds and the spirit of their people.
Paladins are champions of justice, warriors of righteousness who combat evil and root out injustice, bringing criminals and their deeds into light and judgement, ever pursuing what is just and true.
The two are not the same. Especially not the more "exotic" priests such as trolls, undead and night elves.

Now this is where you're certainly wrong young man, they did have certain aspects like racial CLASS abilities. Which they later on removed.
On the contrary of the high and mighty priests you were talking about.

Still lazy i agree to that, but they DID have some MINOR things implemented...

I'm not looking to have them make Night Elf Paladins, but there's nothing lore-wise preventing an order appearing, especially now that they're part of the Alliance, having allies able to teach them. Reason why is that Night Elves believe in and use the light in the form of their godess 'Elune'; It's that faith which allows them to command it as priests and given the fact that they aren't in any way HURT by the light like the undead, there's nothing but tradition preventing them from channeling it through their bodies like Humans, Dwarves, Blood Elves and now Tauren do.

Point is, I have no problems whatsoever with Tauren becoming Paladins as they already had their faith in the light through the 'other' aspect of their Earth Mother (In addition to her nature side), so all they had to do was make the order and train appropriatly. Same would go for Night Elves should they so choose.

Don't know how much sense I'm making as it's really late and my grammar isn't the best I guess, but the ignorance (IMO) of the person answering Chearie there made me wanna try making a post. Good night and all, may Elunes light watch over you! XP

Oh, and I'm not sure if it was in this thread or in another I just read about exact same topic, but I know I read something that makes me want to, once again, point out that Alliance and Horde does NOT equal GOOD and EVIL... It's painfully obvious I know, but it still seems to elude a suprising number of people! =)

Btw, I haven't been paying much attention to forums ever, but if what you're saying is true then I wouldn't be too suprised if they suddenly decided to allow Undead Paladins. (Not that I, in any way, want this to happen. Sure there's been some, but those are very special cases for very special individuals and players aren't this.)

Paladins were 'created' by the Alliance to counter the Hordes (first incarnation of) Death-knights. It would make very little sense for any member of the Horde to become a Paladin with the exception of Blood Elfs (who use to be in the first Alliance as High Elfs).

As for Tauren Paladins, well they are Sun-walkers (which are completely different).

When they remove class/race restrictions. BAM, tauren rogue!

Once paladins were available only to Alliance and that's was really cool.

Then Blizz introduced this class to the horde with the blood elfs... I didn't like that but... Ok, they can steal holy light powers from a Naruu so instead of serving the light, the light is forced to serve BE... It makes sense.

Then introduced the Sunwalkers, holy cows. WTF?!?

Maybe Undead Paladins could be better than Holy Cows. An ancient order of Paladins fallen to the undeath is returned to bring light among the horde seeking redemption. If Holy Undead priest exixt, why not Undead Paladins? Much better than Holy cows maybe.

So IMHO: Undead Paladins fit lore much more than Tauren Paladins.

In any case soon I think Blizz will remove class/race restrictions.

Nah the problem is more that wow's lore doesn't fit the concept of paladins

I do like my AoE silence for shutting up lausy mages in melee range

But UD paladin would just be awesome and will just give us such a boost.

duh They can still be killed by undeads and ressed as Undeath according to the warcraft games, the lore is !@#$ed and dosnt work, hell if blizz would keep the lore intact horde would have death knights only.
