Fellow Denizens of The Sha'tar! It is my firm belief the realm is -SLOWLY- getting better on the front of Rp. Now, before you simply dismiss this like an arrogant fool, hear me out and taken notice.
Yes, I can only give two pieces of evidence to back this claim up but here they are none the less: - Recluse: If you go there you will see more decent RP than before, same at the Overlook and the Slaughtered Lamb. - Goldshire, it is slowly emptying and is safe to Rp in at night now, I know this because I did it recently and there was not a single loller! Now, before you dismiss these too, go to the Recluse and Roleplay, go to Goldshire with a friend and try to Roleplay there too!(Not sure how it is in the day but at night it is empty) AND DON'T MOVE TO AD! Argent Dawn has lots of Rp yes, but the Sha'tar can if we work together to bring good Roleplay back properly, all it takes is effort to try and teach new and inexperienced Roleplayers how to roleplay well rather than ridiculing them! And to those who don't roleplay, try and teach them! Ask them OOCly if they'd like to try, give them a chance! Give them all a chance! Effort and Commitment is all it will take and we can make this realm grand again! |

Urm, I have alliance characters that I watch RP on and sometimes engage in it if I have the time, 'decent' RP is far and few between in my experience.
As far as I was aware, no RP at all happens there, PvPers took it over at the end of WOTLK and RPers never returned. The Sha'tar is slowly circling the drain and has for a while in my opinion. The only reason to stay on this realm is for friends/ties that people don't want to lose just yet. If your worried about servers RP, keep your friends close and enjoy the time you spend on this game with them, best thing you can do these days. |

I'm definately in favour of this!!! Myself I can agree that you has a point Thal :) I've noticed a rise in fairly decent roleplayers.
Also yeah, don't move to AD xD! You'll find it tricky to fit in, in my opinion. If more and more experienced or 'educated' roleplayers come out to play then Sha'tar could be bustling with new groups, guilds, factions, all that snazzy stuff! So yeah, definately in favour of this, and got my fingers crossed we can bring back some of Sha'tar's old spice :) |

Indeed it doesn't, but what I was saying is that at night times it is clear and there are no lollers meaning if this carries on eventually into the day then it will be clean and we CAN RP again. You need to be optimisitic, if we work together we can turn this all around! And Delilía! Exactly, and it is not just bringing good Rpers here, it's about making new ones, teaching the lesser experienced ones the fine details which make all the different like punctuation, emoting, grammar! |

And we need to help the new ones grow better. Help them sort out their characters background, personality. Just anything they need help with! We are the older generation of RPers and we need to teach the younger ones! |

Because that is when it's empty, ofc you can go there in day, it ijust has a higher risk of lollers jumping all over you.

And while we're on the subject.. Let's not just instantly dismiss it, and say it'll never work, and that the Sha'tar is "DOOMED!". With an attitude like that, it'll get nowhere. So! Let's get the roleplaying ball rolling! If you see someone, interact, invite others to the roleplay, and let's get the Sha'tar back to it's former glory. :) |

I love you Cozzi! Already in chats me and a person who shall name himself if he wishes to be made known are planning a way how we could teach a new generation of Roleplayers.

With Horde it's mostly about keeping events ticking over. I will start talking to people soon I swear I will. *hides*

I'm certainly up for this, since I enjoy roleplaying alot and recently the roleplay has been getting better on the Sha'tar, although we need more people and we need more guild leaders to give opportunities to the guildless roleplayers, it would make for alot more fun and exciting roleplay, and I totally agree, some need a little help with roleplay, but I'm willing to share my experiences and put some effort in, I need to learn a few things to, so this'll be great, count me in Thal!!
