Stop wearing terrible pvp blues to boost ilvl and get some proper gear with spirit?

That's the easy-to-give solution to be honest. ^^

The op obviously seems to know that he lacks spirit. Trying desperately to reforge towards that. And I can understand the lack of enchants. Who in their right mind would bother enchanting pvp blues?

But frankly, unless any really experienced pally has anything to add,I don't think there is any other problem that ilvl. Because really,if you can finish the lightwell heroic with that gear, you are not doing anything wrong. :)

I would still get the pvp armour enchanted even with the lower level enchants as the would not cost alot but they would go towards easying the problem. If you are in a good sized guild you should have a good enchanter that will have made a collect of enchants and put them in the guild bank for people to use.

intellect>spirit=>haste>crit>mastery.

gems:
red: brilliant inferno ruby
orange: reckless amber topaz
blue: purrified demons eye

reforge mastery, crit to haste (or spirit in case it is missing from your items).

as a weapon enchant i would suggest heartsong UNTIL you stop having mana problems, else go with power torrent for the extra int bonus, wich is great.

and yes, you need a fair few pve upgrades, maybe a few talent/glyph changes and things will go good.
remember ro pop your cds whenever needed, in a 5 man you can pop avenging wrath and the divine favor. use your guardian of ancient kings when you use divine plea, in case the damage is continued. else just pop divine plea if you are not needed to continue healing.
get trinkets that boots your mana regeneration.

i've speeden up a bit on this post, but i tried to add all the important things.

also, don't spam divine light, use all your spells, that's why you have them.

Lin.

How have you managed to survive LFR runs and not get kicked with Vicious Ornate Pyrium? People would get offended if you healed them with that in a five man.
Fill out your major/minor glyphs. Suggestions: divine plea, cleansing, beacon of light, insight, kings, might. These are flat gains on spells you have in your arsenal, not radical changes on their style.
Heartsong enchant for melee weapon is cheap and easy spirit gain.
Divine Light and Flash of Light aren't to be spammed. DL if there is a big gap in health to be filled and it's an urgent target to get up, e.g. the tank. FoL if DL/regular HL won't be fast enough to save them. Holy shock, light of dawn, beacon of light on the tank, hit cooldowns such as avenging wrath.

You will spend a lot less mana once you have decent gear. Not because your heals are much bigger, faster or stronger, but because you will have the confidence to just fart around barely casting at all.

Enchants, Gems and Glyphs do help too. We recommend these things not because we are elitist snobs who thinks everyone should spend 10.000g getting their character in order. We recommend it because we are lazy gits and everything including getting better items and even earning more money to enchant them with becomes much much easier.

Your gear is obviously for item level / queue jumping. The issue you experience with mana is because of this. You need actual PvE gear with spirit itemised on each item and then your problem will go away.

Why would you do this, any reason?

What? That would make GoAK useless. Rather make sure everyone's topped and there's nothing huge incoming before you pop Plea. You should be able to make it without healing anyone for 9 seconds, but keep using Holy Light or somethin' just ofr the sake of it. Using CDs while using Divine Plea will just be CDs wasted..

Get your reputation up with tabards and buy the appropriate enchants from rep.

Head - 60 int missing
Shoulders - 50 int missing
Chest - +20 to all stats missing
Bracer - 50int missing
Legs - 95!!!!!! int missing along with 55 spirit
Offhand - 40 int missing
Weapon - no power torrent (1200 int on proc)

Thats 305 int missing - more than 5% of your total unbuffed.

Fixing intellect will give you bigger heals meaning you need to spam heal less.

Fill your major glyphs - divine plea is a good one for mana regen.

Finally, work on your rotation, use holy shock when off cooldown. Make sure you judge once per minute and so on. When you can get away with it, heal a raid member knowing that 50/100% of that heal will trickle back to the tank through beacon.

timing your mana regens is a must for a pally, nuking all your mass heals and large mana hungry spells at once doesnt help either.

Ensure you have spirit as your primary stat after intel and stam...and stock up on those brilliant inferno ruby's

holy shocks and word of glory a primary heal for single target followed by devine light for those slightly larger heals.....

dont forget to build your 3 stack points for huge aoe light of dawns....

time your holy wrath and concentration aura and try to pop 1 then wait till half way through cd before popping other to allow your mana to regen slightly .....

hope this helps a bit and just ask if you need help.

I've taught myself to play Holy Paladin, and I have only asked friends regarding reforges etc.

Generally mana regen for paladins is all about picking your moment to regend during the fight. Many of the Dragon Soul fights have gaps in the healing where a paladin can pop and mana regen he has, and start swiping the boss with the ultra fast healing mace. This will generate almost 1k mana per swing most times, and with judgement being refreshed every minute for the hole fight, our mana regen is incredible.

A trinket that may be worth mentioning here that I still use is the 359ilvl valor one with a 325-350int, and a 2k spirit click proc. I find on fights like Madness, as you switch plat forms you can pop divine plea, that trinket and start swinging at the boss and you shouldnt need to heal untill the first tenticle swipes the raid. I always get up to full mana from around 35-40% using that method. Many other fights like the ooze boss its possible to. Everytime he spawns oozes, got and hit the boss with your mace on auto attack and pop some mana regen. Simples.

Also, remember you can always drop your healing during fights, providing its not a big damage phase and get some mana regen. Just let your other healers know so they can compensate, although doing this in LFR shouldnt make a diffrence.

intellect>spirit=>haste>crit>mastery.

Erm... that's not quite right. Firstly Crit doesn'tgive any good bonuses to pallies (I hear they did during WotLK but it's useless to spec into it, especially over mastery). As from 4.3 there are two different builds which you can use:

Build 1: Haste
You reforge all the mastery and crit into haste. Preferably your basic gear stats should be spirit + Haste (which I am currently wearing). If you're left ith any crit in there reforge to spirit if there's already haste on the item.
Stat prio: Spirit => Haste > mastery = crit

Build 2: Mastery
Reforge everything to mastery. The minimum haste required for holy radiance to have 4 ticks is 777 haste (which is impossible to reforge get to if you have excellent gear between 384 and 397).
Stat prio: Spirit => Mastery > haste = crit

Similarities between the builds: Stack spirit as high as you can.

Those orange gems you are using, get rid of them and use ARTFUL EMBER TOPAZ. Mastery is much more important than haste, and haste is not required outside of whats on your gear. REFORGE hit, crit and haste to SPIRIT and MASTERY as well. Also get rid of all those purple gems and put in BRILLIANT INFERNO RUBY, only put those purple gems in blue slots. Ocasionally you will need mana drinks but when you get used to it, you will be using the correct heals and not healing when not required.
