Zenedar..Population and Blizzard....

Hello zenedar...
First, and before starting develop the post: I'm not a native English speaker. ( So please do not come here just to point out mistakes.) ---------------------------------- Post ------------------------------------------ Ok, im not here creating anything new... we all know that a lot of topics with the same problem are being created lately, the thing is... Has blizzard said anything? done anything? even at least commented? no..... What I intend with this topic that differs from others is the fact that i want it to be well constructed and try to get it "sticky". I also pretend a good participation of both factions. Why do we "Ally" complain("whine") so much? 1st - AH prices(due to the "impossible" farming) 2nd - lvling (not that much now, but soon enough) 3rd - Open World pvp?? (that exist on zenedar) 4th - Raid Progression (Pugs, random groups) Yes,now I will speak in detail about the topics mentioned above: If i mention Pop status it will be based on different 'census websites/addons' however actually almost all of them point to "Horde / Alliance -> 1 / 0.29" , means 3.45 horde to each ally or to easy things 345 vs 100, does this seems fair? well maybe in your point of view(YAH!!! its GOOD TO WIN ALL THA TIME!!!!! ME OWN ALLY ME OWN ALLY!!!)... 1st -AH Puissant Dream Em - 14.90g / 45g Defender's Dem - 35g / 55g this was a exemple.. what is the objective?? Our prices are much higher then yours,why?? Well farming as a ally is hard , due to the fact that when you are "trying" to farm , you get ganked (ofc this was allways like this) , but the fact that horde has a much larger pop nowadays make it even worse for us ally. (Just think about this with a 1-3.5 rounding) means that in a place where you are farming (ex 2-7) for 2 ally's there will be 7 hordes arround , meaning? well ... "As a horde" "OMG OMG There's a ally, I tought that they were erased with the "FCM" let me kill it , it might drop something cool :) " well if you get pwned you can allways ask for help with so much people arround, sure 1 at least will help you. "As Ally" "Should i attack??" hm... "Should i??" ... "Hm he is just a shammy, and im a lock... i pwn him hard..." ... you go to the ground, unmount,YOU GET SAPED... "Ups.. i didnt see this one.." ,well the positive thing is.. after 30min u got 3 ores :) ---------------------------------------------------- 2nd- lvling (not that much now, but soon enough) Well nowadays there isnt too much ppl lvling, but when Cataclysm came.. :) well different story and well i remember too see a lot of "red targets" , and the best thing was escort quest , Impossible... (some group of "gankys" , i mean, hordes would kill me or my "escort target") but this wasnt that bad compared to the fact that we needed to wait for hordys to do their quests.. or.. they would gank us... most of the time they ganked anyway, why that?? well i would feel safe :P if i saw 10 blue targets and 2 red +.+ And well MOP inc right? :P ....lets panda all the way!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3rd- Well Open world pvp With the POP unbalance there is no such thing as Open World pvp... As a gnome once said... "If u cant win, go to dalaran." (not that gnomes are cool.. -.-' ) i guess he only said that because King Varian Wrynn isnt there :) otherwise he would say "stay in SW" Well Horde players can easly Raid SW, by the other hand NO WAY ALLY WOULD RAID OGGRI!!!!! (following the logic -> 1-3.45) 1 Ally raid.. (40) vs Horde (138) .. that would HURT!!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Well in this part i dont know what to say,cuz: There are a few number of guilds(most social, cuz raiders left to horde or to who knows where) And Then you have some (National) guilds only (finnish, italian) well.. u know how it works. Well doing all calculations u have 4/5 guilds 2 end content,and those already have their members means almost no recruit. Pugs, well since im accustomed to Pug DS for example (on my Hordy). But about pugs , i really think that ally suffers from "Under age kiddos trying to raid" nothing to do with u!! :P Just to point a little thing, in the "top 20" of zenedar we have 3 ally guilds.. :) /cheer ------------------------------------------------------------------ NOW!!! all explained,this is our(Ally) POV... We pay 13€/month to play this game AS U DO!!!! and ofc we want a balanced game experience... I would like to point that zenedar was pretty fine before the FCM and i would like to point as well that i think Blizz done well in trying to solve a problem of a realm.... BUT!!!! since they "screwed" Zenedar, I would like them to solve it as well. About some answers For those who said we could allways pay to get "well" ,i ask a thing. Why didnt Vek'nilash almost got empty before the FCM and after it got its pop really LOW?? Let me see, they didnt think that was fair to pay "X"€ to get balance in a game that was already paid... I would you feel if you had a bad game experience in a game that you pay?? Well you wouldnt like it, right?? SO do WE!!! We dont like to pay a game and still have this problems(and for some time now) Most of us have at least 2 chars @ 85 with different prof's and that depend a bit on each other so we would pay 40€ to get well?? +than 3 months of game subscrip? About people leaving for horde side , there is some people that dont like to wait @ all. Doesnt mean that if 1 goes all of them (that are dissatisfied) should move. Because if that happened it would be all horde at zenedar. My opinion is that (unlike many) there should be an FCM from another realm that has an unbalanced population to the side of Ally. Eg: Silvermoon , Auchindoun , Ravencrest , Sylvanas , well some more. And Not that we "ally" should leave, that would cause more problems. And Since "FC - Faction Change" is not a option for blizz (yet). Now Some Nice "BlueMan" Could Come and Say something. With Respect, Bluezord. Servers: 30 low populated, 60 Medium, 15 high populated and 1 locked.
We are medium. There is 30 low Populated realm worse then ours+ any Medium server thats worse than ours.. And this is only english Speaking realms. Then ther is German, French, SPanish and Russian (about 90 realms) Thats like 195 realms to blizzard have to balance (only Eu) And blizzard cant force people to FcM to a sucky realm.. Would you transfere to a worse realm than ours? And they cant force people to play Ally/Horde I think the problem is way to big for blizzard to even to try to solve this. But I would start shutting down low pop realm. And some how to fill the server in a balanced way faction wise. Could be done by only letting a certain number ally/horde into a server. To try to make the ratio as close as possible. I dont know who would get what name, but achievements could be givin to accounts and not charecters. Think about Mop. Blizzard will try to encourage world pvp. So blizzard are pretty mutch nuking Ally on Zenedar.. I want that world pvp but not 300 horde vs 20 ally. Im pretty sure that blizzard said that Mop would be more like Ally vs. Horde. Horde have already won on our server makes no sence at all. My point is to enjoy the game as its ment to be, would need balanced servers. Blizzard have forgotten this and is making a bad game experince for players on alot of servers. Well :) the thing here is not to say that they should force any FCM.. the thing is..
Blizz should try to get a solution.. and sadly.. we dont see any efforts that way... not even a post.. saying.. "we are trying..."
This is why i think they should try something.. and not be quiet... And about what u said... Close realms and do a FCM for ppl too choose beetween 1 or 2 bad ally realms.. and Vice-versa.. |

Please note: FCM is opened based on realm population tracking and analysis, not by request. If you're looking for a specific migration (from realm A to realm B), you are in most cases better off using Paid Character Transfer, or you could end up waiting for a very long time. So blizzard want me to pay like 4 times what the is worth, or play on a !@#$ed server.. I dont got the money to do that. And i dont want to play on a %^-*ed server? Thats 200 euros :S well thanks u very mutch blizzard. Ohh and i still need to play 12.99 Euro to play next month :S 212.99 EURO BLIZZARD????? I have never played a game that needed so mutch money just for me to play :S |

i would really wish that the old days were back. free migration destroyed the server back then. although there was a que on zenedar we definitely prefer Great game ! ! ! . i have talked about this subject many times but i think that now a solution must be found cause after the paid transfer released i walk in Stormwind and i feel like i am walking in a small village i know everyone and everyone knows me. maybe its time to resurrect the Alliance side of the server. for power gaming ppl choose horde cause the majority of races have dps increase for social more ppl to talk and you can bully easier cause someone will always help you gang an alliance for raiding ... there is no guild raiding on ally side only a small amount of ppl 3 or 4 guilds do serious raiding . no pugs no fun raids old content. i wish for something to change soon. and wish you good luck finding the solution ppl here have great ideas. but i will not duplicate any. |

Not happening. There are other realms with far worse pop discrepancies, who have been posting for a year now, numerous threads with over 30 pages per topic.
Talking from experience - Edit- *Paid character transfer* or tolerate all that comes with low pop realm. |
Orion.. true... completely true.. however is because of that , that they should try.. servers like silvermoon with arround 1horde to 10ally.. and with a pop of approx 25k... should be happy to come for our server.. ofc.. blizzard have detailed numbers.. they know what to do.. however.. its more profitable... to have PCT |

Blizzard want us to pay for something we are already paying for.. They want us to pay so they dont have to do ANYTHING. So if you a have problem JUST PAY(twice). The most simple solution and the one that gives most profit. So we have to fix the problem our self and pay for it(twice). No wonder people are fleeing from this game.. |
Heh, this is exactly what Blizzard wants As long as money keeps churning in from paid character transfers, FCM's wont be coming to this server |
