If you think you're loosing your place to someone because they have the Legendary, you're not. There's a reason they have both a spot and a Legendary.

Ok, well if all he's wanted for is DPS, then obviously he's not trusted to do something useful with the utility his class provides. |

I am not being left out from raids because of bad performance. I used to raid heroic, but now I just cant be bothered anymore. I could pull 26k+ DPS on heroic neferian before that crazy dmg buff (No army).
But right now If you dont play certain classes you will not be anywhere near the top of the meters, even when you still consider all classes in the raid played perfect and to their limit. EDIT: Basically the guild I raided in, we had 3 active raiding dks, me being one of them. 1 have gone blood spec, other have rerolled rogue, and me I have quit. I know this is not only effecting DKs. |

If you're only raiding to DPS and epeen on meters, you have no business in normal or heroic mode. DKs offer fantastic utility in the form of Death Grip, Chains of Ice, Anti-Magic Zone, Pestilence, Chillblains and Mind Freeze/Strangulate as well as great survivability from AMS and IBF. I've sat people in favour of DKs on many occasions to make use of these abilities, so there's plenty of reason to have them in raid.
Also, looking at raidbots, they're doing distinctly average DPS; I see no problem with average DPS. |

What exactly is the point here? Looking at raidbots DK's sans legendary (obviously) still have both dps specs above arcane mages, ele shammies, boomkins, destro locks, heck, even posterboy shadowpriests are slightly below DK's. All classes that have access to legendary. Are you trying to say that DKs are somehow struggling more than other classes?

No im not and I already said that im aware that its not only dks like this. You will just have to live with that not being the case. The dev team has a clear bias as proven by the recent ret gurthalak nerf. |

not really sure what the TS is on about, in my 10 man raiding guild we got 2, fantastic death knights, one being frost and the other unholy and we're all competing around 35~40k dps, depending on the fight at least but lets look at dragon soul as a raid for DK's shall we?
1. AMS during morchok's thingie on the ground to stay and dps - amazing, sure as a rogue i can do the same once with CoS but its on cd for the 2nd one 2. they both put out some sick aoe say during madness and what no - amazing. 3.DG adds on gunship or CoI for the adds, again i could kidney but not from range. - amazing. those are just things on the top of my head but keep in mind that with all that utility, they both still provide massive dps and as some people stated above, Icebound F. helps alot , also Cr's, honestly TS, Dont moan about what you dont have and look at all the amazing things that you DO have! // Khazoh. |
