don't nerf it's already too easy!
|

well ive played some PTR and i think the nerf is ridicolous, its simply too easy?am i the only one who thinks this? i also didn't liked when they nerfed FL.
wow is not challangeing anymore AT ALL, and thats the problem. anyone remember vanilla? tbc? that was the tough times before everthing got nerfed now everyone can take down deathwing even on normal. such a harcore raid shouldnt be "PUG"able it should require skills and a brain. am im right? |

I agree, Dragon Soul at the moment, for me at least is good the way it stands now, and for a lot, it's pretty easy as it is. But the fact is that most of the people these days who play the game aren't willing to put the time and effort into the game and they just !@#$% and moan on the forums, we're out numbered! So of course blizzards going to listen to them. But what blizzard need to realise is that you can't really have the good players without the bad, and all "good" players (people willing to put the time and effort into an mmo) are leaving the game now and soon, a lot of the bad players will too because of that.
(Could've worded this abit better but I hope you all get what I'm saying :)) I could be wrong in saying that but hey, thats the way I think is going to happen. |

I would be interested to know how far into heroic level content you are, as heroic content i feel is hard. If your finding normal modes too easy for your raid team, maybe try the heroic versions?
Starting to tire of the people complaining the game is too easy, playing the raids on the easier difficulty...... You don'y play a FPS on easy normal and the complain its not hard enough when there is the option to play it on a harder difficulty. |

And the nerf has been announced a long time ago and you complaint now?

Agreed to a certain extent, but they are also nerfing Heroic mode as well aren't they?? Some of us more casual players have actually been running normal to gear up a little more to help out, that doesnt mean we want everything to be faceroll, just that we do things the old fashioned way of gearing in normal in order to do heroic...not expect nerfs so we don't need to bother gearing. Saying that we've been pretty much ready for Heroic attempts for 3 weeks now but due to IRL issues we're strugglign to get our full quota of raid regulars and don't fancy doing Heroic attempts with PuG's and then have to relearn the following week when we have limitedtime available. I think the normal nerf is fine, it's 5%, the heroic one too maybe fair enough, it just feels a bit too soon given the numbers of raid teams that took time off over xmas and ney year so we lost a lot of time there. |
|
The 5% buff is not going to make heroic modes faceroll for anyone who wasn't comfortably clearing them already.
For anyone on heroic modes who is struggling to clear bosses, the changes will not suddenly have you trololololololing through the content with no problem. All this said, I agree that this change is coming too soon, what with the xmas break and all. |
The 5% buff is not going to make heroic modes faceroll for anyone who wasn't comfortably clearing them already. Wrong, ive seen a number of guilds go from 1/8 to 3, 4 even 5/8 ds hc on first day of nerf. Imagine when it reaches 35% !! |
Nope.
And how close to downing those bosses were those guilds beforehand? I've had plenty of reports of guilds who were struggling on HC bosses before the patch, who are still struggling now after it only marginally less so. The 5% buff is not game changing, it does not allow people to trololololl through HC bosses without any prior experience or progression. |
|
You dont call 3 or 4 new heroic boss kills in 1 day trololololl ?
Also as i said "imagine when it reaches 35%" Normal will be as easy as lfr and heroic will be as easy as normal (taking into account the fact that people will be far above the bottom end ilvl reqs by that time). So then we will have 2 lfr difficulty raids and 1 normal difficulty with misleading names. Way to go blizz. Roll on gw2. |

You are far from being the only one with such opinion. Yet somehow the development set goals such as 'everyone should see the content' or 'it is not ok if you need to climb a high wall on your progress path', which mean the game will still head in that direction.

Not of the guilds in question already had progress under their belt on those bosses, No. If they were coming to those fights completely cold and trololololing through them, then yes there is clearly a problem. But I very much doubt that was the case. |
|
Ok this is where your view of what heroic raiding should be, and my view differ.
To me 4 new heroic boss progression kills in 1 day is laughable. That to me is not raiding, its facerolling, or the most unbeleivable stroke of luck imaginable (in raiding terms :)) |
Why is it laughable? If a guild had already put the work in pre-patch and was progressing on those bosses anyway, the patch has just speeded their progress along. Theres nothing "trololololol" about that. If the guild hadn't done the work, they wouldn't be in a space to get those kills post patch. Which brings me back to what I said earlier, the 5% buff is really only going to benefit those guilds that were close to boss kills pre-patch. Now if those guilds had not done ANY work on those bosses pre the patch, I would agree with you that it is facerolling. However, I doubt that is the case in the example you've presented, although that would depend on what the boss kills were. |

Doesnt matter. Getting 4 new boss kills in a single day isnt called progress, it's called farming. Farming is less fun than progress. |
