Nagrand for NEW PLAYERS!?!?

I am a player from nagrand and have been now since TBC, I started while The Black Temple was up but The Sunwell wasn't (Not sure on patch)
Well anyway, I have recently noticed Nagrand has been changed to a "New Player" Realm, I do not agree with this as I know alot of people who are from TBC and who do not want to be classed as a new player by other players who come to Nagrand. I for one am a person who does not want to be classed as a new player, no matter how nooby I act. I wish to ask, Blizzard, why did you change Nagrand to a New Player realm when it was perfect just the way it was? |

Oh Noes! Its even worse than you thought cos I checked and it seems that ONLY nagrand is flagged for new players at the moment. Which not only means that Nagrand is populated only by nooby players, but that every other server is populated exclusively by veterans from vanilla!
(unless the "new players" flag means something completely different and always has done) p.s. Thanks Blizz. After so many complaints in trade about the drop in population, its good to get a pop boost ;) |

slightly off topic, I see your 2v2 team is called 'reemteam'. just so you know, the word reem makes me want to punch my god damn monitor, jesus christ I'm mad.
maybe you should spend more time complaining about nagrands new player status and less time watching the only way is essex. |

Nagrand is a dire realm, with very low population whilst this may not of been the best way to deal with it (FCM yepyep) And tbh if I was in your shoes I wouldn't mind being called a "new player" because once they inspect you they'll have no doubt you're a n00b (There's a thing called enchants, nice gems etc). All I'm trying to say, new players aint bad. n00bs are though and if you've been playing this game for 3/4 years and still don't know how to spend some $$$ to improve your char then you are the type of person who makes this realm a cesspool. inb4 trolls liek u fen ruin dis relm inb4 nicktardnl P.S. What a completely stupid post and looking at your gear....you are the kind of person that flags Nagrand as a fail server. I've been here since Nagrand was created, this server has some awesome people and great personalities. Instead of qqing about something that really doesnt matter, how about spending ten minutes reading your class post on elitest jerks and finding three letters called l2p. So fed up of reading whine on mmo forums, these games are terrifically easy, it requires minimal effort. tldr stop writing crap posts on forums and start spending time on yourself. |

Well, its a good thing that nagrand is getting more people, and just lately i've alot of 85's come to nagrand too, probably looking to start fresh in Dragon Soul.
For a guild master like me, it's an ample opportunity to teach! |

This is very good for Nagrand to be honest, I have been here since the day the realm came out, in TBC it was much different than it is now, back then there was a few level 70s, but mostly everyone was low levels, there would be 10+ people in one area questing at a time, groups doing deadmines ect, Everyone had crappy gear, and tbh, it couldn't get much funner.
But now, there are no new levellers, and anyone who is, has full Loom. About 95% of the realm play on there level 85s, and don't level characters any more, This is because it is an old realm now, and not very populated, Meaning most people who are on it now, have been on it a very long time, and have level 85 characters Simple facts, Reason why this is good :) |

It kind of began end of WotLK, I guess a lot of players thought Cataclysm was going to be bad and just quit really. A lot of good guilds either broke apart or moved completely... i.e. Heretic, Tribal, Karma etc...
It's quite dire for Nagrand currently, we have a few decent 10 man guilds around and only one 25 man now.
This may be so, but quite a large amount of the players don't understand how to play their class fully, they don't theorycraft etc... Shame really I can't really think of anything that could boost Nagrand up. PvP wise, players instantly look at the battlegroup and derp because it's Vindication then look elsewhere, PvE is barely open because a large amount of the player base in WoW only really consider x-fers when the guild of their choice is a nicely progressing 25 man guild or a crazy 10 man realm first/prog guild which Nagrand lacks. |

The realm just isn't what it used to be. face it
However, new players may mean that the wind will blow in a new direction. See it as an opportunity rather than insult to the realm and the players. At least blizz opened their eyes and saw that your population was low. Some realms are worse off. New generation of players inc. If only old players were left and population never increased, how would the server survive? |
