Sorry if this is not the right forum for it, but to me it looks like it.
---- Hello. We are a group of 9 friends looking to do a 6/7 heroic firelands man run on weekly basis to farm our alts some legendary staffs, and to have some fun raiding. With the new option of crossrealm raiding for every instance except Dragon Soul we will be using this option to get a nice group going as thunderhorn isnt a very good place to get a 25 man going. We are all experienced raiders who just would like a good going raid to farm our alts some staffs and gear. Aiming to do 6/7 heroic for a start we might not do Baleroc the first week depending on how the group is. Obviously if grps looks capable of it, we will do it. TIME AND DAY: Sundays from 19:30-23, but we should have cleared it before that, but raid last longer then till 23. We know most people raid on sundays, however we dont so this is the day we choosed to do this. edit: moved it to sundays as we could plan our alt run another way, thanks for pointing it out Reptial. REQUIREMENTS: We will be using ventrilo for the whole run, you arent excepted to have a microphone but you must be able to listen. We dont have the big requirements, its only firelands you know. Gearwise we require itemlvl 375+ equipped. Obviosly nogo if you are full pvp geared. Expeirence wise we require as default 4/7 heroic on any character, however contact me ingame and we might be able to talk bout this. edit: upped the ilvl requirements. General rules & Loot rules: General rules of this raid: No flaming or harsh trolling, a joke is fine here and there but i want a smooth run where people will enjoy being, most people dont like being flamed so thats a nogo in this raid. AFKS & BRBS: As much as we would like to have none go afk we cant avoid it and thats fine, we will schedule a break about midways in the raid, else try to keep afking during lootrolls and trash. Dont complain about everything, we dont want drama and so on in this raid, if you have a problem, feel free to whisper me. If your perfomance is bad and holding the group back from kills, or if you troll / insult people, you will get a warning, on second warning you will be removed from the group ---- Loot rules: We roll Mainspec > offspec - if you are coming as a healer, your mainspec is healing, if you are tanking, your mainspec is tanking, and so on. For boes: Mainspec, if no mainspec, it goes on raidroll, ill do a /rr 25 and i will link activity from last boss in raidchat - if i roll 14 then number 14 on activity wins. For professions patterns they are going straight to raidroll. It just seems very silly to do this on a Wednesday as the only people you'll find are most likely those who are pretty bad and aren't in a raiding guild.
Not raiding Wednesday is an extremely rare thing these days and the few guilds that don't are usually filled with people that can't raid on that day due to IRL reasons which means they won't be able to join yours either. Not that I personally give a damn about Ilevel but 360 average is below the requirements for firelands heroic. I mean you can get a freshly dinged alt to 380+ in a matter of hours through LFR and the 378 dungeons. Your treshold makes no sense at all. |

Yeah thats a very fair point, i actually didnt think about that to much honestly, just decided a day their isnt mainraid, 80% of the people in run mainraids so, ill look at it. |

Its firelands :) Its just as easy as LFR honestly. Obviously its not gonna be 360 average as most people are way overgeared for this.. |

I don't know to which LFR you went to but 95% of the people I've met there wouldn't even make it past Shannox Heroic.
Actually now that I think about it probably half the people in LFR wouldn't make it past the first trashmob in FL is they were put in a 25 man raid with people of equal skill. Or perhaps motivation/effort. |

There will always be bad players really, thats why this cross realm raid ability is a good thing, giving people the option to play with other people, im not sure bout your realm but on thunderhorn there is noway to organise a firelands 25 man.

Hmm, you changed it from a raiding day (wednesday) to a raiding day (sunday). I'd suggest weekend during the day or friday/saturday evening.
Also I'd agree... 360 ilv? I would put most FL heroics above DS normals, and the requirements for those are far beyond 360 ilv. |

The guild im in raid on fridays so thats a nogo, and they have their rated bgs on saturdays, making wednesday/sundays the only able days due to stuff happening rest of the other days, mainraids and so on. Also, the ilvl thing doenst really bother me to much but ill change it, people in the run atm are 380+ and so on, also, currently needs 2 healers, dps offspec welcome, 1 tank, and some dps really. |

Just adding some info since I'm running a regular 25 5/7 heroic on my own realm.
(in retrospect I probably baby talked you too much :P) Firstly, I run mine on Thursday evenings, which limits my selection too, but I fill the raid every week. Populated server though. So Wednesday evenings when you have all of Europe to choose from doesn't sound so bad. Furthermore, doing 5 heroics is pretty easy. If you do it 10 man, Beth'tilac is considered the "sixth" heroic mode; the toughest one, but here it's definitely Baleroc. We only managed to kill him once and then there were like ten guildies in the raid. Normally you'd race against his berserk timer, but here it's more like racing against the inevitable point of the whole raid having Tormented. Believe me, all the melee will have it before the second shard is up, lol. And half the new people will run away from their Countdown buddy. However doing 5/7 every week you'll still need 3 weeks for Cinders and 5 weeks for Essences, so for your Dragonwraths it's no loss. Plus Baleroc drops virtually no BiS items so nobody's gonna be too emo about skipping him. Speaking of BiS items, there are at least two in HC FL: The cloak from Rhyolith for any agility user (and blood DK's?), and the neck from Majordomo for mages and warlocks. These are great for attracting good players. Throwing in a tip for heroic Beth'tilac: FEW people up. This is the key to victory. Combat rogues down, Blade Flurry owns. Ret paladins down, they can taunt like mad. Death knights down, same reason, and if they're frost, put them on lanes. We have never wiped in P2, last week we only had like four people up, though admittedly that was a close kill. But really, abuse the gear advantage and the nerfs and use very few people up. I also think 360 is a slack requirement, I demand 378 and full normal xp and still half my crew ends up being 390+ with quite some HC xp. I am actually curious how you're going to even find such non-industrious players as to not immediately spam the new 5 mans at 85 and yet being dedicated enough to this game to read forums. |

Most probably can't make it due to having to raid on Sundays, but just outta curiosity, are the smouldering essences reserved?

Bumping this- 10-11 spots left, no tank spots left as it looks like, can fix one perhaps tho for a good tank WITH a offspec viable.
