Citizens of Kalimdor! Elune needs YOU to join the Star’s Fury!
In preparation for Waywatcher's Borderlands Campaign, (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3269837112) the Ashenleaf Sentinels have been commanded to assist in the formation of an auxiliary force to support them in he coming conflicts across the sea.
The force will be comprised of Kalimdorian citizens who may not be suitable to join the Sentinels (eg, males, non-night elves, highborne and Death Knights), but wish to aid in the overseas offensive for the Alliance. You can read more about it here: http://www.argentarchives.org/node/100168

What’s in it for me?
With the creation of this community, you needn’t have to join a guild or try and shoe-horn your toon into a sentinel role in order to join the Borderlands campaign. You’ll also get a chance to interact with, (and perhaps in future, join up with) guilds affiliated with The Kalimdor Project; a long-running community dedicated to RP on Kalimdor, namely around Astranaar and Ashenvale that features regular weekly events and a wide variety of RP-central guilds.

I'm already in a guild/TKP/a guild leader. Can we still participate?
Of course! We're also looking for the inclusion and support of guilds on the whole, particularly those that are involved with Kalimdorian life as it is. The more, the merrier!

Do I have to be there at all those Thursday event nights?
Short answer, technically no. However, it would very much behoove you to attend! Every thursday night we’ll be offering training sessions for the auxilliary group, including fun events such as obstacle courses, lessons on wilderness survival, weapons and combat training, and first aid seminars. This is a great way for your character to develop, whether they’re a seasoned veteran of the Silithid war, or a simple civilian eager to help his kin.

Alright, I’m in; where do I sign?
Should you be interested, you need only send an in-game IC letter to Shadefeather, Kayris or Nymi, or alternatively meet them IC in Astranaar. One or all of the Ashenleaf officers are online at 7pm server time onwards, on most evenings.

Auxilliar Force ‘Uniform’
Now, as we all know, the Sentinels have a kick !@# uniform. It sucks for transmogrifying, I know, and while all our scouts [i]without fail[i] will complain about it and their starter set at least once; it works.

But of course with such a wide variety of characters, races, classes, specs, armour requirements et cetera as well as the difficulty of obtaining a unifying set for all; we'd like to offer up the choice of outfit to you, the troops. It can be as hardy as plate, or as soft as silk. Though we'd request it look... marginally 'sensible' (let's avoid dragon skulls and fire everywhere please gentlebeans) and we'd like you to focus on purple as a main colour scheme or focused accent colour- you don't necessarily have to conform to one look per armour proficiency. Mostly because doing that is time consuming, a rueful money sink, and trying to get upwards of 20 people to agree on ONE SET of clothing is going to be soul-shatteringly stressfull for all parties involved. Also, until further notice, please preserve the armour in its original form for now rather than transmogrify your top end statted gear. We’ll let you know closer to the time what the stance on transmog is when we start arranging RP-PVP rules and encounters with willing hordies.

So! What's the rules again in short hand for those of us reading this at two in the morning?:

Colour: Purple! (main colour or accents. Bonus points from me for silver too.)
Armour type: All (cloth/leather/mail/plate)
Armour 'style': Depends on character. Ideally should look 'practical' or kalimdorian.
Stat limits: Currently, no transmogged uniforms.
