The question: Why do you not play with the 2p T13 in arena ?
Do you find the bonus not appealing enough, or is the resilience loss to big in your opinion (I would find that odd as you do not play with max resi; pve ring, non-resi enchants), or did you simply not get to loot the tokens whilst raiding ?

Ty Bridgey, I'm guessing he got very unlucky in raids and/or considers lfr t13 to be too low ilvl wise to be used in arena.

Ye personally I am still going to keep the LFR 2 set because the bonus is amazing and when I get full s11 gear I will have around 4.1-2k resi which I think is more then enough.

You should have around 4300 actually, if you use 2/5 t13 and full s11 gear, and even higher if you get the t2 wep + relic.



Also, I suggest to every ret out there to go BH25 with MS>OS lootrule and try to be the only ret on the raid. That way you can get 2/5 ilvl397 even if you aren't in a raid guild. :]

This, but ye don't really rate the 2 set bonus for 3v3, need 5k resi to play ret/hunter/priest but yeah it's really nice for 2v2.

My guess would be that he swaps gear around, I use to do it when I did a lot of PvP, and many Rets prob still do it (Unless the whole Ret clan died out with my absence).

Id use the 2t... 13 was it? peaces if I still played as much, but it is a solid Rezi cost, then again, depending on what combo ur playing the Ret shouldent rly be the one getting zerged, far easier targets.

Anywho, like I said, he prob swaps gear around, wep too with different encs, stuff like that.

And before u ask, yes, id use the legs and helm peaces too, the legs cos of the extra socket, and helm cos of the mega hit, so I could possibly take a PvE trinky if I felt I wasent getting destroyed.

Worst case scenario? socket Rezi into the pants and maybe helm (Only if u can get ur grubby little hands on HC parts tho so the Str doesent suffer as much).

Is the 2p bonus worth it in a triple dps setup? (ret/rogue/hunter)

omg triumvirs back!!

I think you need every bit of resil right now in arena because insane dmg output of almost all specs.

Using 2pc :S

It's probably cause of eu link he's playing 3x Dps from what i saw & on us they got Pala healer.
With healer he can sacrifice the Resili ,while with 3x dps ,it's already enough Damage out there ,so he should stick to more resili. my guess

Why?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but PvP rings are higher ilvl (403 as opposed to 397 from valor vendor), so they not only have resilience (which is crucial), they also have more STR, which is by far our primary stat and better than some mastery or crit.

Ah yes, I forgot the socket.

But still, considering how fast a ret pala drops nowadays, I'd still hate to lose 191 resi. :/
