Hello Defias Brotherhood, < Brutally Dedicated > is a organizing a Duel-tournament for all players !
When is it? Saturday 18th of February 2012 @ 5pm servertime ! What is it? A dueling knockout tournament. How does it work? We make a raid and the raid leader does 2 raid rolls, the chosen people leave the raid and duel, the winner rejoins the raid in group this goes on until everyone has dueled once and rejoined the raid backwards. Once everyone has dueled the second round starts which just like the first round will be 1 duel knockout, this carries on until there are 4 people left. The final 4 will be competing for the 6k gold prize money, the semi final duels will be best of 3 or first to 2 wins, the 2 losers of this round will duel for the 3rd place which will also be a first to 2 wins. The 2 winners of the semi final will be the in the final round which will be best of 5 or first to 3 wins, the duels in the semi final, 3rd place and final will be back to back without any breaks the only break they will be allowed is untill they are fully healed and have full mana, so would be advised to watch when they use cd's. What are the rules? As you know the players will be chosen to duel by raid roll. Once you are chosen to duel you will have 2min to answer to a duel if you are afk you lose the duel and the other player advances. Each duel has a 10min time limit if by this time you have failed to defeat each other its only fair on the rest of the people taking part that it doesnt take any longer, so just to make the tournament quicker the duels lasting 10min will be decided in the end by a /roll from each player taking part. Arena rules apply to abilities like Timewarp/Bloodlust army of the dead, lay on hands etc... Any ability that cannot be used in arena will not be allowed in the tournament. There is also no mounting allowed during duels that includes ground mounts too. If you have a bad connection or disconnect during a duel it is your own problem and to avoid any fake dc the duel will still be decided, so if you lose due to connection problems you lose. You are not allowed to use other class buffs [rogue with bok for example] If you someone is removed from combat due to an ability the duel will restart. If the duel is interupted by Alliance the duel will restart. You are not allowed to use profession abilities like engineer boots etc. You are not allowed to use potions/flask/food buff. No healing specs. No tanking specs. Things u cant use in arena u cant use in the tournament. If u use things that arent allowed in whatever way u lose the round. RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGES UNTIL THE START TIME. [if you would like to change or add rules please post here or contact me in game] Where does this take place? You will have to /w me about this How do I join? Send a ingame mail to Quong or sign up on Defias Brotherhood Forum. (32persons maximum) How much will it cost me? Nothing. So where is the gold prize coming from? We are donating 6k gold. How will the prize money be handled? 1st place gets 3k, 2nd gets 1.5k and 3th gets 500g. (also a Champions Bounty if anyone beats the previous edition winner in whatever round he gets 1k gold on the spot) Why are you making an event? Because they're cool and more people should make events and get people involved in fun stuff. For the people coming to watch please do not crowd the duel area, and allow the duelers to duel. As i said before in this 2nd edition of our Dueltournament a Champions Bounty is included. This means that whoever beats naak in the tournament even if it is 1st round or Final gets 1000gold on the spot. This 1k gold has been gifted by the guild < Tactical Magic > ! Yeah man, we are planning to do it. It was first tournament and we frapsed only finals and still working on editing that video. But for this one we will either organize streaming or fraps it fully and post it on youtube. Thank you for your interests in this |

The tournament will be arranged at a different spot then last time. there will be the possibilty of line of sighting. but atm i cannot give more info then this. If u got any other questions feel free to ask.
