Everytime I start up my launcher I get the error message "failed to download information about the next patch. check your network connection." and have no idea how to fix it.
I have tried running as administrator and even reinstalling so I don't really know what to do. Any help is appreciated. |

Hi there,
Can you go into Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options> Connections> LAN settings and make sure that you select Automatically Detect settings. And make sure that you haveUse Automatic configuration Script and Use a Proxy server not checked. |

Hi.
It's possible your anti-virus is being silly. Can you download it in Safe Mode with Networking? http://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/how-do-i-boot-the-computer-into-safe-mode |

This is my problem
When I click on Launcher this message appears after 30 seconds: Launcher cannot obtain patching information. Please check you Internet configuration. So I spend hours on the forums US and EU tried ever suggestions and possible solutions I found there so I though lets try starting wow up on my iMac late 2007. And it works while on my windows 7 laptop and windows 7 PC it does not. So the hole story that is a dns issue cant be right I guess. The only thing I could think off its maybe ccleaner since I use it on both machines ( laptop and PC) and I noticed that every so often when I scan for issues it always give me some issues with wow launcher. Also I don't get why blizzard locked the real thread about this for the EU forums could not even post this there. Blizzard please help since at the moment I am paying you money for nothing i mean this is already the third day I cant start wow on my PC. And if you ask why I don't play on my iMac its because apples iMacs are a expensive piece of crap if you play wow on them for about 1 hours the hole interface "burns in" on the screen and when you shut wow down you still see all your action bars. But then again at least wow starts. Ok I think i am done complaining thanks for reading :). And here is also the tracer Information I have done.
