I don't know much about dks but you can log out in your tanking spec and gear for a start :)

It appears there's still some room for improvement in your gemming, as you're sitting a bit below the CTC cap. You could replace your purple gems with parry/mastery ones to start. Mastery enchants on your boots and shield shouldn't cost much either. If you haven't already done so, the lesser inscriptions (shoulder enchants) can be unlocked with ~1 hour of focused effort. Of course the greater ones offer even more of a bonus, but those will take a while longer (I still haven't gotten around to getting it myself, I blame my altoholism). Grind Earthen Ring rep to unlock their arcanum for your helmet. Windwalk is far more preferable on your weapon than Mending. Furthermore, since you're not CTC capped yet, I strongly suggest replacing your weapon with something like Gavel of Peroth'arn. Souldrinker is nice, but the HPS you get from it isn't high enough to make up for the evasion you're missing, especially on the LFR version.

Way to much dodge mate if you count Resolve of Undying. You want to have dodge=parry while keeping your ctc, if not you get diminishing returns. Since you are almost ctc whitout it I would suggest you to drop Resolve of Undying for a stamina trinket and get some mastery gems to get you capt.

Couple of things to work on, Evedi ^^

May be worth reforging parry > mastery on your cloak, it's waaay above your dodge and won't hurt bringing them a bit more in line with each other, even though it has expertise on it.

You could drop your impending victory talent, it's very situational and you'd gain more dps / threat from taking cruelty instead. Also safeguard could make way for blood and thunder on trash, but not so important. Just don't intervene and gain an extra stack of sunder on bosses like warmaster :P

Apart from that, spec looks fine, gearing / reforging / gemming looks fine, so not doing bad ^^

Nestea - Change 40 dodge gem into 40 mastery gem on cloak - maybe same for boots too, but it's dependant on how much you value mastery as a stat It'd help you more prepping for heroic modes to change those to mastery, and then put pure stam gems in blue sockets for the hp buffer.

Spec looks fine too. ^^

Hayleigh^^ Have to say all looks really good to me, some people prefer to convert block -> dodge/parry when they get to CTC cap, but Stamina stacking is also good for hard modes.

I have just decided to try out the avoidance build, which makes multi mob tanking easier, but not raiding on this toon, just HC and LFR (ignore shoulders please been really unlucky with drops)

As requested I ignore your shoulders.

As a Dk you in no case gem dodge reforge out of mastery or do both at the same time. So reforge, regem every one of your items. You reforged mastery to dodge while having hit on the same item which makes me scream and around in circles....

Nothing to improve.

This is my off spec, use it to do dungeons and lfr.

Bear in mind I do have the 4 set (shoulders and chest) I just prefer the look of these and the 2 bits are lfr ones.

PVP neck and cloak are better than the ones you currently have so it might be a good idea to grab them.
(Actually the only pieces beating those 2 pvp items come from heroic ragnaros and ryolith so they it is really worth getting them)

Not much raiding going on, so spec isn't hugely important... but still...

I'd take out abom might, blood caked blade, virulence and take 1 from epidemic. Get both endless winter and lichborne for lower level content. 1 more in SOB.

AMS over glyph of boneshield for most situations.

VP ring. relic and trinket would be a good way to go if/when you get the points.

You might want to consider putting some Stamina gems in. Though your dodge is nice, if you get hit, your gonna have 50% health+ gone in 1 shot. Its important to get some health for DS, as there are a lot of heavy hitting bosses/abilities.

The best place to start for gaining stamina, would be to replace the stacking agi trinket, for something else, as that is more of dps/dodge item, and your already getting a massive on use proc of the Valor point trinket. In terms of gems, try doing pure agi for reds, and pure stamina for blue, as for yellows try mastery/stamina or dodge/stamina gems.

For next person to post, would be nice to know if there is anyway I could improve in my current state. 10 Man heroic progression guild if its any help.

@Cálard: Hard to see any room for improvement except the obvious "get more epic gems". As my main is a holy/disc priest, I cant help but drooling a little when I see a ctc capped shield tank with that amount of stamina gems. :)

If it helps the next one: I mainly use this alt for pugging normal DS - although pugs with enough dps to pass Ultraxion are rare on my server, every little chance I have of getting an extra Brilliant Queen's Garnet for my main is welcome. :P

With regards to pvp neck and cloak do you mean conquest or honor? I'm going to assume you mean conquest for now and convert some vp.
Thanks for the reply. :) I'm mainly tanking 10 man ds as main tank, recently won vial of shadows which I use for dungeons as I don't need the survivability there and I probably have it equipped on my armoury.

With regards to above me, can't really see much other than gear improvement, maybe the comment about my toon and the pvp neck and cloak will help too :)

I'm not a fan of the Vial of Shadows (I know Agi is nice, but some trinket effects are too amazing to give up for just +stats), but if you're anything like me you have a battery of trinkets, and that's just your default setup. I would move the points out of Feral Aggression into King of the Jungle. It gives your Kitty work a lot more oomph for the few times where that's a boon, and you have plenty of time over the course of a fight to get Faerie Fire to 3 stacks, there's no need to drop two talent points into making that slightly more convenient.

That's just a personal opinion though, I honestly don't see much to improve and nothing you're doing looks particularly wrong. Keep up the good work. /brofist

For anyone critiquing me: I have an LFR Souldrinker and Veil of Lies to work with as well, which I usually swap to if the fight has a particular emphasis on magical damage rather than boss melee.

Not too bad, the lfr souldrinker > your current weapon in every respect though, so you should use it more. You seem to know what you're doing, reforging the parry away as you have slightly too much ^^

For your spec: Drop gag order, useless for bosses ^^ Put the points into cruelty for more damage and threat ^^

Can't really see much to improve Hayleigh, your gear is good, enchanted and gemmed correctly, intellegent reforging.. good job :D only ttiinnyy thing I'd say is you'd probably get more use out of the Block Value meta, with your avoidance as high as it is.

Be kind when you check my gear :P I left the game when Swtor came out, and only returned a couple of days ago, did a full DS today and got a few peices, but on the whole I'm still using FL gear :P
