Tooltip probably isn't updated yet, but it got modified a bit. Nowadays it deals around 3x less damage, but procs 3x more often.

Well.
Less proccing would be nice. I run heroics as 5 mages, and I got this trinket in LFR the other night. One of my mages became instantly stupid, breaking all the sheeps. This trinket is as good as Maelstrom Crystal. |

It was very !@#$ing obvious to me that Beeq is multiboxing but I see that it is not so obvious to other people. |

This. When there are no tanks or healers in a party or a raid, the cc is quite important. I'm just expressing my thoughts about the trinket and how it should not break any cc. And I don't mind being insulted/facepalmed by the people who fail to read ;) |

You could use another trinket for those situations where you might accidentally break cc? It's a bit of a shame to "waste" a good trinket like that though, especially if you don't have a decent alternative.

Here's a good example about the cc and it's meaning, one trinket breaking all that cc would cause a mess. I faintly remember situations where a proc or talent used to break cc and Blizzard fixed it very fast.. Hopefully they are going to fix this proc as well |

Hence the "use your head", switch the trinket out. :P Go try raiding, where aoe is important ... you know trinket, gained from raid environment to progress in raid environment and since sunwell there Has not been any raid instance where CC is used. |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_l84aGmSzsQ#t=245s Class procs are part of your class so if soemthing is breaking cc then that should be fixed, trinkets are a choice and as some one said, swap it out. The only time trinkets are changed for PvP is when they confer a huge advantage to a player with it. Not so long ago Unheeded Warning got changed as it gave ferals huge burst. Cunning did the same and its dmage got reduced but it's proc rate increased. The trinket is working as intended so doesn't need a fix. |

/facepalm.Not sure if srs. It was very obvious to everyone that she's multiboxing, it's equally obvious to everyone except you apparently that if you have a trinket that breaks cc, use a different trinket when doing dungeons. |

It's fine. Wanna know what was worse? The ilvl 318 questing trinket (which was one of the best trinkets for quite some weeks until tol barad trinkets became available), which put a dot on mobs. It could proc on casting sheep. So: Sheep -> trinket procs on the target you sheeped.. FROM casting sheep... dot tick. Keep in mind that sheeping pulled a pack at the start of cata.

Useless for multiboxing and useless for all the other situations where cc is needed. I like that trinket very much and hate it too, equal amount. |
