Of course, I am happy to be of service. You may pick my brain for lore and sources anytime. Coincidentally, I have rolled a "Koranith" Death Knight on Defias Brotherhood, but I am not extremely likely to be around as I run a guild back home on SWC.

I am looking forward to seeing the Blood Elf bit get a revamp as we elves have suffered at the hands of the Burning Legion, maybe not quite as much as the Orcs or Draenei, but surely as much as the humans and Night Elves, and more than the Dwarves, Goblins or Gnomes, at least to my knowledge.

Demons and warlocks are a useful tool and can be tolerated as such, but we have been burned more than enough times to know not to welcome them with open arms.

I wonder if you should do a section on how being a warlock can affect a characters personality.

For instance, Destruction has a greater tendency to be Chaotic and being a chaotic person lends itself to a quick and ultimately more destructive behaviour. For example, If some has tried to kill you my impression would that they would go out of there way to destroy them or something they own making a particular spectacle of it.

Demonology would incur a person to a slower (and thus more patient) behaviour and more consideration would be put into what they do. For instance, You have a assassin in your house and you stop him by setting up various traps

Affliction would be kind of a sado-masochistic approach to everything, where the person relishes and enjoys the torturing of his/her fellow species. As well, the person is often prone to subtler forms of cruelty for instance, you have the lover of someone else in your clutches.....you have a slow very painful wait for the guy.....who you say you will free but have already skinned alive for which you have then reattached and had some demon possess the dead body.... torture the person with the wait ....enjoying it....eventually you give it back to him but you yank the skin and the demon of the person right in front of him/her......so yeh really sadistic
(I believe i made my point with that)

Just a suggestion ,what you do does in fact alter your persona a bit

Weren't warlocks on Azeroth before? Of course, orcs revolutionised the term and brought new skills, but I'm quite sure human society (as well as the Highborne, don't forget!) would have had warlocks and demonology before. For example, the Council of Tirisfal was created to combat demons who would probably have had warlock agents on Azeroth or variations thereof.

Plus, you could perhaps add the limitations on a warlock? A lot of magic users are simply over powered in role play.

It feels slightly rude to ask for sections, but could we get a section for the Grimoire of Supremacy demons?

At risk of self-promotion, I'll offer a resource that might be of use to those exploring the roleplay possibilities of troll warlocks in the setting.

-- Troll religion in the game might seem daunting, as it has been expanded upon at great length throughout the history of the game setting. This is an introductory guide for those seeking to explore troll culture.

It specifically includes information from the game setting on how troll warlocks as a variation on witch doctors, fit into troll society. You hopefully may find it of use.

Lovely guide, and i got a question. Mainly what things in minimal make you a warlock?
Sure they use shadow, but one can be a shadowcaster (Siminary to Affliction i guess). And not all really use demons. Is it if you use Fel? Then again it seems hard to know when you are what, sub classes confuse me a lot.

Also i'd be nice if more Shadow and it's effects would be included then, some people tend to play necromancers with the warlock class or so on, but still shadow seems like a main focus for them.

Plus i'm not sure how other people see what the warlock knows besides the Fel/Shadow/Dark magic. For my warlock, i tend to keep the dark at the side for only in times of real need, while he'd still focus also on possibly illusions, fire and other magic forms. Sure one can say why not play a mage then? Well some say Warlocks walk on the thin line of good/bad, or least the average ones. So i'd asume their magic arsenal would still be good. Count that it's not easy to not get yourself killed in dark arts as a simple aprentice, sure luck and so. But those more adept in the previous ways would surely not forget them?

For the Shadow topic, as i've read somewhere or speculation. Shadow is pretty much a natural element of the universe, probably even more natural than the light.

Shadow is death, decay, aging and so on. Life and death co-exist and one could say draw Shadow magic from his souroundings. Since everywhere that there is life, there is also death.
