If It was first designed so all had to be turned in at the same darkmoon fair month. Then why was there nothing about this announced within the conditions of the achievements? And why werent any of the quest items repeatable in the following month?Allso why have so many achievements overlap if they were only achievable within the timespan of one darkmoon fair?

didnt know those achievements were that important to so many people.
glad i did them all at once! that was smart thing to do.

atlest i can turn in the items again as opposed to next month when i couldnt
guess its time to visit the AH and be done with it before it gets wiped again

January’s Darkmoon Faire achievement progress status was cleared prior to the launch of February's faire. Any achievements that were started but not completed have had their criteria reset. Completed achievements are unaffected.

If completed achievements are unaffected then why has my Darkmoon Despoiler ach been reset? My ach progress was wiped clean after the first month so I made sure i handed in all 9 at once including the treatise on strategy (which i had to buy in the end).
Tbh if i were u I would keep your hands on all 9 artifacts till they -actually- fix this problem.

Hm i didn't see any1 say a word about warlocks and their OP teleport to dmf arena...
And nobody can't use mass summon in the arena....

try telling the gm's about this... ticketed one not long ago and his reply was "its working as intended"

This is a reply from "Sadoryanne" atfer placing a ticket to see if they can rectify the situation.

"Hey there Imnotresto, had a look into this matter for you a bit. Please keep in mind that you need to complete the hand ins in one go when the Darkmoon Faerie is here as thats how the achivement will be counted into the Darkmoon Despoiler. So if you hand in half now and you did half before that will not complete this as it resets every month until its completed.:) "

Ok so after a very lengthy conversation with 3 or 4 gm's the first few saying the usual "its working as intended" i finally got through to a gm who knew what he was talking about.
My predicament is as follows:
I have darmmoon defender, and darkmoon dungeoner, but i'm missing the 3 pvp runes for despoiler.
Now as the gm quite rightly stated you can tell from the acheivements that all 9 have been handed in at some point.
Also as the gm quite rightly stated this is a bug, not any players fault, but the gamemakers fault.
The gm then went on to say that although he can see the problem and admits that it is indeed a bug, that his manager is not prepared to let him help me with this, because if he did "everyone would want the help and we dont have the manpower to do that".
So in effect, he said "yes its broken, but its broken for too many people so we cant be bothered fixing it, just do it again".
Poor customer service? i think so.

Does this count as completed acheivement? the pvp acheivement says i have handed all 3 in but despoiler says i havent.

Actually gm told me to make a forum post about it>_<

Sorry but your hotfix did not work. Both my achievements got reset again today. I was only missing "A Treatise on Strategy" (for the second time) to complete both and now i have to start all over AGAIN.
Please don't tell us these things are fixed when they apparently are not.

So that's the January, February and March DMF's i've "predicted" to reset due to how the quest and achievement system works, sure you don't want to revise your statement this time around? :D

I don't really understand this. Do I have to turn in ALL of the artifacts in one DMF? Because I know for fact that I have turned in the Egg and one other thing last time, and none counts as progress. Anyone know? :/

I found a nice cheap treatise of strategy during the last fair and handed it in. I checked my achi progress ready for tomorrows fair, and found out that it's all been reset?

A little late to this thread and party, but I am monumentally annoyed about this. I've effectively thrown away a potential 7k on our server by handing in something that didn't count?

Regrettably, we are not able to restore any progress you may have made during January's faire. We do appreciate the impact this may have had and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Considering how hard the Mysterious Grimoire in particular can be to obtain this is really, really tiresome.

I am still waiting for any answer and I was bored so I check my AH in SW, found some cheap artifacts and I am done now. But I think somebody lied to us.

"Working as intended" = "We can't fix it, so you'll just have to live with it."

Well, I had a discussion with a GM about this last month, and I specifically asked him whether this would be fixed now. He swore to me that this was fixed and would not recur. I guess they just redefined "fixed".
