World of Warcraft

Abused Immortality is an 18+ guild currently looking for a few top notch players to complete the last few places of its 10man raiding roster. We are a level 10 guild formed from mature, skilled players that wish to progress through cataclysm content as one solid dependable team. For this we are currently searching for any of the following;

Priest (Shadow/holy)
Warlock
Mage
Shaman (resto/elemental/enha)
Warrior (fury/arms)

Our expectations from you:

We are progressing through content and learning encounters with 8/8 DS down at the moment. We are raiding 2 nights a week, from 7pm to 11pm server time. The raid hours will likely be reduced when we have content on farm, however we expect any members to turn up for every night currently.

For you to be completely up to date on any relevant theorycrafting, and that you have spend considerable time ensuring that your character and interface set up is optimal to raid with. This includes extensive keybindings as well as potential focus macros (highly relevant with cataclysm focus on interrupt mechanics), as well as addons we deem necessary.

You come to raids prepared, this means that you have purchased flasks/repaired and turned up 10minutes before raid time. This also means that your gear is enchanted and gemmed with the best available enhancements. Ideally given that you are a class capable of two roles, if would be anticipated you maintained both specs.

You are a team player, at the forefront of your thoughts is team progression. You are almost as excited for a fellow raid member to receive a piece of gear as you would be yourself. We use the EPGP loot system which is a points based system, more information can be found while applying on the guild site. We particularly don't want you to be the cause of any drama, we realise that WoW is merely a game and causing us stress is not something we look for in a recruit.

You are receptive to criticism, we especially don't want to hear you telling us things like "I know", or "like you could do any better" for example. If you are underperforming in the raid or consistently dying to a mechanic, we will explain to you the mistake made, and you will be expected to not make the same mistake again. Consistently underperforming in raids may lead to more drastic measures, such as being benched/put on standby while you work on ways to fix any problems. If no improvements are made, you will most likely be replaced.

You have a stable internet connection, your computer is able to run wow at a solid frame rate and you have a working microphone. We expect you to be able to download the software for voice speaking (that guild uses) and not be afraid to speak to the rest of the raid.

You have an enjoyable, friendly personality, we are not tyrants and we wish to enjoy the time we spend together. The backbone of the guild is formed with serious intention so that real progress is made in pve, however our players are all laid back when not raiding and get along well with each other.
