Huntards? Hell no.
|
|
In fact, Hunters are the only class that is smart enough to lay down traps and play dead - And they still get called huntards when they are in fact the most clever class in the game.
STRANGE, ISN'T IT? |
|
|
some people play hunters very badly though and give us said name.
|
|

That's just because they are so east to level and so overpowered low game. The same can be said about Paladins. Wait, I mean Tardins.

personally i levelled as prot and that WAS overpowered
hunter i can barely remember how i levelled but in wrath they weren't so overpowered i think |

Awfull lots of hunters use their mouse to press their abilitys, which is alot slower and cripple movement, you can really see what people who clicks when you are facing them.
But I understand those who does it, all those abilitys we have plus the very much needed macros made me unlock a whole new alt+everything I can reach keybinds to only fit the most important stuffs. So now I got normal bindings, shift+all bindings in range + mouse, ctrl+ all bindings in range+ mouse and alt+all bindings in range+ mouse and still got a few things I sometimes need to click. I can imagine thats alot to just start with. Almost every random hunter video you see people click, and that suck so hard when playing hunter when you need extreem movement. This is atleast what I think, and probally the stuff that people ninja pull with our long range auto attack by mistake and also the rep that we need on melee weapons "we dont need because we are ranged". |

Even the most retarded player would understand that it's more about the stats on the weapons. And I've seen people with like 28 different keybinds just for skills, that's just too much for me. |

hmm i remember at my server back then (Ravenholdt) huntards were called those having pet taunt while at scholo always on (and no need for their pet to tank something at that time. Those who remember vanilla scholo can understand the frustration they caused)
Hunters are really easy to quest pve solo since vanilla but has the highest learning curve at pvp since it needs great micromanagement with pets, its unique cc abilities and its ways to kite. (think at tbc it started to show). |

What if they think people may not have enough knowledge to be aware of when you are died your traps fade? Even you play dead while your pet is up, some people are stupid -or just knowledge-less, anyway- to leave u behind sometimes. So before judging people, try to look from different aspects. And yes, my snake trap is binded with feign death and I disengage generally right after I cast feign death, while people are trying to click my corpse between snakes.

Nice trick, thanks.

I'm a clicker. I'm also not a bad player. Muscle memory of playing the last 6 odd years has stopped me switching over to keybinding.

you will always be a better player if you keybind |

Its all about skill playing a well played hunter. I both click and have keybounds, those I have by hand is the most important for pve purpose. And that it has been since vanilla and even during periods that eaither BM or SrV was the best hunter speccs I have stayed faithfully to MM.
I dont do pvp hate it solo, only fun times I had with it was with friends |

"easy to play, hard to master"
I'm still at the first part, though :P |
|
|
"easy to play, hard to master" And keeping on you toes, its like martial arts, you have to train pretty much everyday. But at times when I feel like to put aside Mirie for a little week to play my other toonsm when I get back it takes me 5 minuts or so to get back into my shot rotation agian. |

Hardly any movement in pve, so its like whatever. |

I'm a mist clicker and keybinds, and i'm not bad player even in pvp...and after all this is a !@#$ing game nothing more. People play whats more confortable to them...i have 3 hunters (lol), cause i really enjoy the class and i want learn more movements, keybinds and doing well without destroy a battle or a dungeon...so i decided level other hunter to learn more...and change my main (lisboeta) after training a new macro, a new key or something else...but that it's me,a nd my way of learning...hunter it's a hard classe to master, i don't know if it's the hardest or not...but like i says in beginning it's only a game, and no one have a reason to call to other one bad names or something like that, it's better try to help.

I think the name applies thanks to so many hunters who fail to turn of growl, forget auto attack is instant cast and pull by just clicking on mobs and have no idea when to call off their pets or stop auto attacks. LFR on deathwings back is a prime example, you can guarantee that there will always be at least one hunter who has to be yelled at to call off their pets on the wrong corruption and/or amalgamation when it's low on health but not at 9 stacks. Hunters are just plain more open to having their mistakes spotted, wheras all other classes can hide the same mistakes due to either lack of instant cast ranged auto attack and or no pets or pets with taunt.

It stems from the massive amount of mentally handicapped Hunters that have played the game, gold farmers generally pick hunters, people creating their first char often pick hunters due to ease of leveling, and it was more noticeable in TBC when a hunter failed to trap something when CC actually mattered
All of these things equate to hunters being brandished as huntards. My first main was a hunter, good times. |
