Hey fellow Sha'tarians!

It might have been a while since you've last heard from me. I've been up for some busy weeks (who still continue) surrounding my exams and next study.

But enough about me, because I'd like to share my idea here instead! Part of my quest to raise both awareness and respect of which some would know as my campaign to severly improve RP, I've been thinking of posting an Essay on Dragon RP on the forums on how to RP one etc. for who would know it better then a dragon RPer himself?

Although there is no valid way of RPing any other race then Humans, it would include the best-seen way following the lore. I hope to improve the respect for RPing alternative races and improve the RP of possible future dragon RPers. Sadly, dragon RP is currently still heavily frowned upon.

Anyways, i just wished to inform you all on this, and i hope that you'll all be reading it soon.

Love,

Selaniel. <3

I like how everyone who responded to this is the exact same person.

On a more on topic note from me, the majority don't want to see people roleplaying, or badly roleplaying dragons, or any other race that isn't in the game, it's a huge taboo and shallow people are going to call you out on it no matter how much extra creativity you pump into it, then again it's not like you can do something with a dragon in WoW without making it just look really silly and fanfiction worthy because you're not supposed to reveal that you're a dragon to begin with.

Here's a useful post on how to RP a dragon if people are that desperate, it doesn't really need a whole essay unless someone has a huge !@#$% for this type of engagement:

I don't know why anyone would want to play one of the most powerfully boring races in the game when each race and subrace has its own amount of enriched lore to play around with other than just to stand out and be a huge Mary Sue, personally. If anyone wants to play a good obscure race like a dragon, half elf or otherwise, the best thing to do is probably not to let other people in on it. Because I repeat once more, most roleplayers are shallow and will probably not look by your MRP for all of that in-depth build up you've written aside from your chosen race and title.
