Hello, i have just hit 85 with my hunter and i am having many questions for what pet i should be using.

Atm i am using a bird for its 10 sec disarm, but would there be somthing els that could be alot usefull if you dont play VS many melees/ Some pet that are better overall.

I am aware spirit beasts got a heal, i am told it got 1-2 min CD and heals about 20K, love if someone can tell me how it is with it!

Monkey, a blind for 4 sec with 45 sec CD, sure if i should get this.

Spider, Net, i have forgot how long the net last and what the CD was on it.

I love if someone comment and help me!

you play with the 3 best all around pets. Hunters use their pets on occations. I find myself many times after i cc some1 to change my pet if it doesnt suit me at that fight (or want a renewed pet ability). Hope i helped.

Alright i will make sure to pick 3 main pvp pets then!

Spider or Monkey are the best tbh (Correct me if i am wrong) just for the CC, tbh i have only really used spiders.

Myself i did use spider for pvp at low level, however i rarely found it that useful with all melees so i went for a bird.

As MM, it depends on your opponent. For casters, monkey; for melee, either bird or spider (I like bird personally)


And if you're BM you probably want to go with spirit beast. When I BM, I usually have 3 SBs, 1 monkey, and 1 bird. If you get a free second in a BG, you can heal yourself back up pretty quickly by swapping through SBs (just make sure to wait for them to get their stats buff from you.....if you heal right after you call them it gets wasted). It's a little hard to do in an arena match though.

Thanks alot for the tip mate, i dont plan to go BM anytime soon but if i ever do i will take your advise to use.

i prefer scorpion over bird since bird is a cunning pet and you get intervene on scorpion plus it's a lot harder to kill

I prefer spiders. and if I was a BM, I'd choose the spirit cat from mount hyjal (that does sick damage)...

Thanks alot for the ideas and support guys, i be sure to get a spider and try it out, aswell i will start hunt for a sprit beast some time soon.

Imo disarm from pet is good but situational , good against hunters, can !%*!!*#% off rouges but i prefer different pets

1. Crab - pin, intervene, roar of sacrifice . I use this most of the time, on random bgs and rated . Solid defensive pet with ability to keep enemy in place. Intervene can be life saver but you need to know when to use it.

2. Monkey - your additional cc, make macro to cast bad manner on focus and make healers life harder, roar of sacrifice

3. Spider - I don't think this is best pet , it's good but intervene saved my life and killed another so many times that i prefer crab over spider. This pet is must against blood dk since pet don't need to attack to apply web. Good when you need to stop fc fast , crab is a bit too slow.

4. Cat - +500 agility is always good , it last full minute , it always good to buff up when you know you'll go with all guns blazing in few seconds

5. Wolf - same reason as cat, buff up (5% crit chance) , get monkey/spider/crab , pin down flag carrier and blow all your cooldowns in his face.



In any case ferocity pets are pointless if you are not Beast master , you lose too much (roar of sacrifice) and gain is marginal.

As a BM, I use Skoll (SB), it does sick damage, it heals me and it's rare and therefore awesome. :P

My choices of pets for pvp:

In MM: monkey, bird of prey, spider, sporebat and a cat/wolve only for the buff.

In BM: Devilsaur, Spirit Beast, Bird of Prey, Silithid/Warp Stalker/Dog, Core Hound/Monkey and sometimes just for fun my Rhino. I love the cc of the monkey, but i really dislike the way they look. I love the way the rhino looks, but the exotic hability it's a little meh.
