Ret vs Unholy

Hey peeps,
got obliterated in a ydays duel vs an unholy DK from my server (he had 90% HP in the end). Now, I know I played wrong (popped only AW for late heal, but it was already too late ... hello necro strike), but, I'm here to ask, in 10 duels, who would win more, an UHDk or a Ret? Thank you. |

I don't duel the pro duelers (the ones sitting all day in Dueltar) but I can't remember the last time I've lost a 1on1 vs uh/frost DK.
Basically, spamheal yourself a lot (repentance + spam flash heal works, too, and so does warstomp + flash heal) with WoG, kite the DK around if necessary, stun his big pet/gargoyle and kite them with holy wrath, use gladiatorlossa addon to know when he pops icebound fortitude so you don't waste your stun, early HoJ to force early trinket, arrange big heals with WoG + wings combo, etc. The UH DK simply shouldn't be able to do enough dmg to drop you if you keep healing yourself a lot and chipping at him. |

Retribution, easily. Remember to instant cast fear/Holy Wrath his pet.

Its a hard fight with no rooms to make mistakes, but if u play correctly, Ret win always.
Just Fear hes Pet while bursting. After hes Magic Shell use wings; sometimes they just gonna w8 to use it for the Wings only, Just use it when he is bursting. If u wing, A good DK will Strang u; Just trink it out of it. (Dont worry about the pet stun, Last 2 sec) Just prefend him to Heal him self in Lich Born; Turn Evil, Rep, Hoj... And while hes CC, Heal ur self. Get out of hes Anti Magic Zone. Fear hes Gargoyle if he isnt in Lich Born, To prefend allot of DMG. Dont forget to WoG your self under 30%, If u are specced into it. Thats the most tips i can help u with it. :) |

If the DK gets his zerg off really early they can burst you down + necro spam you so your heals become useless but usually you can kill them (only times you tend to lose is if you get a CS parried/dodged or you get no hpower procs to get wings/zeal/inq up :D
but ye I ain't 1v1'd a DK in a while. |

With or without CD's? With CD's it's quite easy, even if it's just Zealotry.

DK will win, a really good unholy DK will completely smash a retri to the ground.

Yes. a Very Good DK is very hard to beat. Because before you prepare your HP ,you're down on your health.
Hard to say really. Most normal answer would be : Depends on a player skills. Skilled DK > Retri Skilled Retri > DK Skilled DK =?= Skilled Retri. |

ok just had a 1v1 against a 2.2k+ unholy dk and he kinda owned me :D dodged 2 cs's and parried another 2 left me with like a 130k necro stack and he didn't even have to lichborne heal.
(I don't use LoH or bubble in 1v1's tho) Ok just had round 2 and i kicked his !@# cus I crit and proc'd stuff. |

i also don't use LoH in duels ( i use it after to heal the 1 who lost) ,but you could alow yourself to bubble ,as it's alowed in Arenas to. |
