We’ve just updated our Mists of Pandaria Talent Calculator to reflect many of the most recent changes and renovations currently being made to the next expansion of World of Warcraft.
We’d like to discuss these and other changes to talents and specializations in this thread. Here are a couple of thoughts to start with: Feel free to have a look at the updated calculator, and then discuss it there! |

While I'm aware this is still a development process, the new rogue end-tier is very bland (except for possibly Anticipation). The previous end-tier (Shadow Dance, Vendetta, Killing Spree) were more interesting despite existing players already knowing these spells.
What's more interesting for someone who sees these trees for the first time: "Step through the shadows and assault your enemy and gain 5 combo points" or "no cd on redirect." Just a thought. Nice update regardless. |

Is it possible , that u will do so that we can see for each class what changes u did?
Kinda messi to find out your self |

Blizzard, I LOVE YOU. The new talents and abilities look brilliant. ´Giving Warriors utility and mobility? Hell yeah!
The new talent calculator in general is brilliant. Real choices with no right or wrong choice. Just, model your playstyle around it. |

Priest talents still meh, bland, boring, except a few.

Liking the paladin changes, however few questions will Crusader strike still grant a charge of holy power? And are the current values for Light's hammer correct or is it 6 mega damage its doing? :P

Is it possible , that u will do so that we can see for each class what changes u did? I'm sure sites like mmo-champ will compose a list of changes soon. |

Energetic Recovery from SnD...? :<
Please dont make the sub specc easier it's already fine and more importantly it's fun to play right now the only changes i could think of really is to make it easier on target swaps and reducing the stacks deadly poison needs to do full dmg and apply MH poisons (if it will do that in MoP ofcourse). |

A few things that came to my mind (without a particular order): - The new version of Spirit Bond is much weaker than today without the extra 10% incoming healing, despite ticking twice as often. This is a really powerful talent today and something i'd not like to miss, given how lacking hunters are in survival. - Fervor is weak compared to the other spells in it's tier, but I guess this is subject to change as mentionned. - The new Black Ice is even awesome-er as the version before. Great change. - The new end-tier Talents made me cackle like mad. :) Now that's great news! |

1) Looking at priest talents/spells I can't see any of them that would generate shadow orbs. Is it going to be a glyph or something? It's really hard and pointless to discuss something about new Mind blast and Dark archangel since we don't know what spell will generate shadow orbs for us.
2) Where is Devouring plague? 3) It seems that Holy priests won't be able to use Archangel since they'll have no way to get evangelism/dark evangelism or whatever resources it will require. 4) Vampiric touch self-healing is a good idea for pve but in pvp it will make us even more reliable on this spell that can be easily dispelled. |

Some wishes for MoP (Started at 3 but coulden´t stop) Nr1 Force of Nature ToL and Soul of the Forest having the same output to healing becouse if i can´t turn into tree and heal permanent i wana have healing trees and still not lose it on output. Nr2 Becouse you made Dream of Cenarus intressting it would be good if we get a sort of Atunement from it when we use Wrath or Starfire atleast let mastery proc from it. Nr3 A Minor Glyph for Permanent Tree of Life when not mounted or simular effects "Puppy eys" Please Nr4 Decrease the cd or increase the healing from Cenarion Ward becouse i like the ide of it but it seems fairly week (More then Half PW:S absorb and more mana cost not to talk about cds) not saying i whant a PW:S wana be spaming buttom Nr5 A Choise for increasing Direct heals or Healing over time to balance our healing in dungeons as low geared or pvp you can´t say our direct heals is doing the job for pvp if not you gives us a HoT like Unstable Affliction that protects the HoT on the target But i have to say i love this Hybrid idea it sold me right away |

why do some classes get raid/party end level abilities like war banner and some gain personal buffs like soul reaper ?
Nothing realy i'm looking forward to as being excticing and new. Also can't wait to see how you "intend" to fix attacks based on weapon dmg...nerfed across the board. Bladestorm halfed dmg.......its not even worth using on single target as it is lol except for snare trinket. Disappointed a lot |

Lets compare poor shadow priests with mages and warlocks (other cloth wearer damage dealer classes) for PVP.
1- Dots’ Damage and Self Heal: Warlocks' damage and self healing from dots are better than shadow priests. Everyone knows rogues' self healing is higher than shadow priests' dots damage too. And now Devouring Plague will be gone in MOP, shadow priests' hope for being a dot based class will be gone too. So if someone wanna play a dot based class, they should choose Warlocks. 2 – Instant or Casted Spells: Mages instant or casted damage is better than shadow priests. I don't know the comparison for warlocks and shadow priests. So no need to choose shadow priest again. 3- Mana Regeneration: Mages and Warlocks mana regeneration is way better than shadow priests. 4- Survivability: No need to write the skills and talents cause everybody knows that Mages and Warlocks have way better survivability skills and talents than shadow priests. Shadow priests don’t have any chance against most of the melee classes. 5- MOP Talents: When looking at them, Mages and Warlock talents seems way better than Shadow Priests. Priest talents seems the same without any fun. 6- Conclusion: Someone please wake Blizzard Devs, they shouldn’t fall into sleep while looking at Priest Talents. Why someone wanna play shadow priests when other two dps classes are way better? Just for mind control? 7- What Shadow Priests Need: A- Make Shadow Priests a dot based class again and increase dots’ damage and selfhealing and bring Devouring Plague back to MOP. B- Make mana regeneration similar to Mages and Warlocks C- Give a survivability skill or talent like blink or teleport which can be used while stunned and snared so that we can have a chance against most melee classes. D- And what happenned to Spectral Guise? So you decide to get rid of it, then we are waiting for a new fun skill. |

A point of semantics: "Malady" is a name suited for DKs and not Warlocks. Likewise, "Soul Reaper" is a name suited for the Warlock class. "Carrion Swarm" is also a name best suited for DKs and definitely not the Warlock class.
Death Knight: sickness, disease, carrion, necromancy, ghouls, gargoyles, death and decay. Warlock: demon(ic), fel, affliction, curses, soul, hell, damn(ation), sacrifice, nether. I know it's only about semantics, but it is important that the classes retain their identity*, you'll thank me later. *The Demons of Blizzard have taken everything else from us, our identity is all that we have left. |

Hunter
There are a few things I've not seen yesterday I'd like to comment: - Lock and Load: If it can be triggered only by Freezing and Ice traps, then it won't be useable on bosses. That'd be a pity. Unless, of course, the bosses in MoP will be affected by such effects. - Camouflage: The ic use is great. I wonder what this 1min duration for the ooc use is for. At least make it 1min 5sec or so, so that we can recast it without being seen, better would be unlimited (or very long) duration. - Powershot: the description is a bit weird, and despite I like the idea, I see problems with the range requirement for maximum damage. Basing on my quite substantial raiding experiene up to today, it won't be applicable very often. - Black Arrow: cool! |

I've been playing this game for a few years now (and my husband since 2005.)
I gotta say, the talent tree we have atm is simplified but workable. it still allows for enough diversity between players and you at least need to think about where your going to place points to suit your style. The mists tree isn't that great in my opinion. especially for priests. its all a bit bland and seeing as you wouldn't get renew or heal till 26 & 28, it effectively removes dungeon leveling for that class. it's all too simple. Your character will be exactly like every other priest or lock out there with the exception of your gear and name. Its taken any skill out of playing WOW. |

I have a question about lava burst
Seems like you reduced its base cast time to 1.5 sec and took off from shamanism. That means lava burst will have the least scale factor among all non-instants for elemental shaman and may be quite useless (regardless it does crit all time) in 2nd/3rd+ content patches. Or does that means you change scale factor formulas? Or does that means its just a typo? And one more question about crit damage. I see elemental fury crit bonus was reduced to 50% from 100% (the single caster spec that has this talent). Does that mean we will do only 175% damage as a crit instead 200%? Are we going to be a single caster with that small (or probably, huge) crits? |
