With the creation of LFD and LFR there seams to be a mountain of threads complaining about guild group's STEALIN / NINJA'in items.
Whats so wrong with me giving gear i have won to a guildie/friend. you haven't lost anything other than the roll. |

Whether one sees it as completely fine, ninjaing, stealing or whatever, rolling for your friend/guildie doubles the chance of them winning the item.
Personally I consider that unfair. |

thats one point of view but on the other hand u take the thing u dont need from player who needs it. its not breaking blizzard rules i know cuase need/greed system is working as intended - its just unethical - u run the dung with 5 people from your guild np but as long as somewone other joins it u shouldnt do this.

It's unfair. Now your friends practicly get two rolls, where as we get one. You never, ever need on things you do not need for yourself. Just because you can do so doesn't mean it is right.

Whether one sees it as completely fine, ninjaing, stealing or whatever, rolling for your friend/guildie doubles the chance of them winning the item. Why is it unfair? Gemming and enchanting your gear also increases your chances of winning an item, by increasing the power of the raid, and, implicitly, the likelyness of killing the boss. Should gemming and enchanting one's gear be considered 'unfair' too?
Just because you say it's not right, doesn't make it wrong. You're not the authority for ultimate morality in the Universe. |

Why is it so wrong to help gear up Guildies.. its wrong cause one person gain two rolls on 1 item which is unfair to the others who needs it. everyone should have ONE roll on loot and not more cause they know the people they run it with.
actually they have... by trowing another roll in the chances for the the pug to get loot gets lower. i am however against people who dont pull their own weight gets loot, doing 8k dps with a cheated item level |

Raidertard moaning and ninjaing causes more problems that makes raids fail.
|
not really... if you take LFR25man and then remove role bonus' you have a 1 in 25 of recieving an item. i didnt said that odds would change and this is what i stated in many topics before abiut the mechanics. its unethical but its your choice what u gonna do not mine. and its your guild opinion which could suffer if besides you there will be at least 1 person from your real who cares unlik u about ethics and gonna inform in trade what have u done. thats all |

It's not unfair to have friends/guildies/partners at all.
Aquiring them takes some social work, and usually this work is (and should be) rewarded by the fact that friends are priotizing each other over random people in LFR and are willing to help each other more than help that random aforementioned 10k DPS mage. |

Message to the whiners:
Take friends to LFR. If you have non, that's probably what you're doing here. Learn to make friends. Probably about 95% of the community will admit to have rolled on something for a friend/guildy. The other 5% are either lying or FOREVER ALONE. |

It is just so gauche

This. And honestly, noone really needs the 5 guildies from some <random guild> in the raid - we will down the bosses without em anyways. If i put in the same amount of effort as the before mentioned guildies, i deserve the same loot chance as them. And the argument that because you have friends in the raid you should be rewarded better than those not having friends in the raid - thats just so wrong for obvious reasons ... |

Another thing to add - what i witnessed on myself yesterday - i won the head token and then on next boss i recieve offer to trade it for chest token and on next boss trinket for my head token . both the offers came from the same guild and after checking all chars i have seen they all had things they needed for so there was no needing for guildies whatsever in this case - how would OP name this ? is it still fair to others ? needing on things one dont need to trade for things that his guildie may or may not want ?

This. You have the same chance as them. You seem quick to ignore that for the one person who gets an extra roll, the other person doesn't get anything. |
not really... if you take LFR25man and then remove role bonus' you have a 1 in 25 of recieving an item. It's like archaeology. An annoying profession because even if you solve 100 commons, you're stil no closer to a rare. You'd think that as people got geared and ran DS normal along with LFR, they eventually would not need an item that drops and your chance of getting it increases over time. But since people never stop rolling for stuff the chance of getting an item never goes above 1/25. |
