World of Warcraft

Morning/afternoon,

Just seeing what sort of games you all play - trying to find some games that are worthy of playing to try replace majority of the time I spend on WoW.

Also want to ask, who plays Terraria, Dungeon Defenders or Minecraft? Anyone able to let me know if these games will take up quite a bit of time and are enjoyable to play?

Been playing some old school beat em ups after the last 4 years of seriousness that is World of Warcraft.

Sometimes it's fun to just press a few buttons.

Anyways, been playing Darksiders (great game, I recommend it to anyone).
then some Witcher 1, not such a great game, combat system doesn't feel right to me.
Finished Assassins Creed 2 recently, a good game, but it gets stale quickly and the storyline is a joke.

Then... I played some overlord 2. Fun game, wasn't expecting much and I didn't get much, but the occasional humor is nice.

All the above games I got for like $10 each so they're all really cheap on steam or whatever.

Considered playing that myself, I might just play it for some time wasting and banter.

Plants vs zombies!
On a more serious note (not that zombies attacking your frontyard isn't serious, but yeah)...
Mass Effect and Dragon Age, I'd say these are the main ones.
Also I spent a loooooong time playing Ultima online, way more than I should have probably, I just loved the pvp system... even though the game looks very outdated now.
And... Quake, now available in in-browser format.

I'm currently chopping through the last missions in Might & Magic: Heroes VI. Enjoying that game quite a bit, always been a fan of the series.

That looks quite good, I'll give it a look once I'm home from work.
I'm away to start playing Terraria, Minecraft, Counter Strike Source, Team Fortress 2 (again) and LoL. I need to find replacements for WoW.

I'm burnt out.... I have no idea what to play(HELP!)

Recently just finished playing:

Saints Row: The Third(AMAZING game, absolutely amazing)
Skyrim (Now waiting for mods to roll out)


Maybe I'll try out Minecraft.

Did u ever played Assassin's Creed? It's a fun game in my view :>

Waiting for Mass Effect 3 (meantime I consider getting a real life achivement called 'Girlfriend' ...)

I have way too many games at the moment.
Currently im finishing up "Orcs Must Die!" and doing some post-mainstory stuff on Disgaea 4. Both are pretty damn awesome i must say.
Disgaea is probably not something for someone looking for a "serious" game though. Theres pretty much jokes and hilarious moments all the time. But gameplay wise its a really awesome turn based strategy game (im a sucker for those, cant help but play em).

Aside from that i still need to finish Skyrim, Fate/Extra, and Super Mario 3DS, think i got halfway on them (well not skyrim, thats way too big to make any halfway claims).
Lastly, when they're done, i still have about 6-7 console games (ps3/DS) to actually get out of their plastic wrapping, and a ton of games from steam sales (dangerous things those steam sales >.<).
Waiting for two games currently, those being ME3 and Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2.

Yeah, i have a bit too many to handle. But i finish them off slowly over time.

Minecraft is really fun to play when you get bored of everything else.
Would recomend playing with friends though. Forever alone on single player :/

Playing LOTS of Darks Souls these day's (that game is epic!) and some skyrim also.

Just bought Alan Wake as it was recently released for PC, 28 euros as a full price game isn't bad! :) Great game aswell, alittle to much action, but otherwise fantastic!

darkness 2! Amazing storyline with a great ending!

I pre-ordered it for Xbox 360 before it was released. Such an amazing game imo. :)

Currently playing Starcraft 2 beside WoW. Tried out Star Wars: the Old Republic for two months.

When friend are around I play NHL-games on Xbox too.

I just discovered Mount and Blade: Warband.


Though the game has a LOT of things it could improve on, I absolutely love the core elements of the game!

I hope they release a full game in Mount and Blade style, with better graphics, more fine tuned combat, superior game balance & a lot of other tweaks that I care not to mention.

Still, the game is amazing nonetheless.

i've been playing a lot of Team Fortress 2 as well. that game is so awesome it's difficult to believe that it's free to play on steam.
