Hello and welcome to Trekka's DS25 Gold DKP post!
First things first:

The following post will contain general Gold DKP information, info about our Weekly Gold DKP runs and recruitment needs.

These raids will happen:

Sunday from 14:00 to 18.00 - Our first run is the 26th of February.

Information about Gold DKP raids in general:
- Gold Dragon Kill Points is a loot system for PuG groups where you’ll have to pay for your gear, but will get your share of “The Pot”, when the raid is over.
- Items which drop in your run are auctioned off in raid chat. The highest bidder receives the item and the gold they pay is added to "The Pot"
- Profession Patterns, BOE's, Mounts, Essence of Destruction, Disenchanted Shards etc. are all auctioned off in this manner as well.
- “The Pot” keeps growing in value until the end of the run
- “The Pot” is split evenly at the end of the run to all 25 players in the raid present when the final boss dies. Everyone gets an equal share.
- There is no mainspec > offspec priority, it's the gold which solely determines who gets what.



Information and rules of Trekka's Gold DKP raids:
- Every BoE & BoP item will have a starting price of 2000g. (Tokens starts at 5000g, with a raise of at least 1000g)
- The raise is set to 500g, so you’ll have to bid atleast 500g more than the previous bidder.
- Example of this could be 3 players want an item:
Player 1: 5000
Player 2: 6000
Player 3: 6200 – WRONG! You’ll be able to bid either 6500 or higher.

- All auctions and bids will be in the public raid chat. The minimum bids are above and there will be no maximum bids.
- A sudden afk (without letting leader/assist know) or often disconnects from either game or Ventrilo will result in no share of the pot.*
- In generally a bad performance, racism, elitist behavior or ignore the leaders command will result in either replace from raid or ban from future GDKP raids with the group.*
- We expect from everyone that if an item drops, that you need, you’ll bid on it.



Invites/Raid composition will be handled as follows:
I'll make a calendar event for each raid, to which you will get invited during the week.
It's important that you 'accept' the calendar invite as I will confirm the raid setup on Fridays.

Take note:
Only 'Confirmed' players will be participating in the actual raid group.
Being invited to the calendar event does not assure you a spot in the raid.
If you have been confirmed and "something came up" so that you cannot participate any longer it's important that you contact me - failure to show up at the raid will result in a ban from future raids.

Recruitment and "role-index"

A succesful Gold DKP run needs an appropriate mix of the 3 following player types.

Carrier: A player with amazing gear. A Carry raids for the gold and in turn he/she contributes to ensure that the raid succeeds. A Carry does not need to bring alot of gold to the raid. Usually they do though - so that if that one item they've been after for so long, drops - they buy it!

Buyer: A player who needs alot of gear - and has got alot of gold to spend for it. A Buyer is the reason we have Carries - he could be in full green and just dinged 85 this morning, and thus he deals silly DPS. But the Buyer contributes to the raid by feeding "The Pot".
A Buyer need excessive amounts of gold.

"Everyone else": Everyone in between. Players with above average ilvl and a moderate amount of gold to spend.
