okay guys planning on buying a new laptop i aint got much money got 260 pounds left to spend can you guys see any on ebay.co.uk that will play WoW with half decent settings i need a laptop since i travel alot

find one with an i3 cpu atleast and give link, il look into the gpu's specs

Problem with laptops are CPUs tend to be much slower then desktops unless going high spec.

For your price range you are gonna find it very hard to find one to run at half decent settings.

With your price you will be VERY lucky to get a capable CPU, and if by luck you get one with good enough CPU for "ok" settings, then it will be an on board graphics, meaning no good for gaming.

You may get VERY lucky and find something, but expecting anyone to do the search for you is a tad ridiculous. Your best bet would be asking for what min spec a laptop you need for playing with good settings, then comparing for yourself.

Again though £260 is a very low amount to play any game on a laptop, unless you are looking at very lowest settings, or med settings with plenty of lag.

I've got the Acer Aspire One 7339.. I have a steady processor, multitasking is no problem, but I can only run WoW on low settings, and I'll have 30 - 40 fps.

It's a fine machine, had cost me 375 euros. :)
So it's slightly above your budget, but if graphics don't matter to you, this is your laptop.

Go for an Atom processor. That way your computer will save alot of energy and be able to run for a long time. and remember to go for the lowest amount of RAM for gaming. RAM is only good if you are working alot.
Also try and get a MOBILITY RADEON HD 4530 / 4570 as a graphic card.

With these specs I'm sure you can play BF3 on highest settings while saving alot of power.

the two i linked are similar specs to my old laptop and that ran nearly everything high at 50-55 fps

so clueless it almost hurts >.< your telling him to get a laptop with little RAM for gaming, a crappy CPU, a bad GPU and on top of that claims it can run bf3 on highest settings. a computer with that will lag on low on bf3. a dual core cpu on around 2 ghz just wont cut it for bf3 on your suggested settings, and on top of that you want him to get little RAM with it. do you even know what RAM is? saying ram is only good for working gets me wondering.

Lol some people just like to be cancer, Anyways still looking for a laptop think i would be better getting a desktop considering my budget?

reason why people suggest that you buy a desktop is because laptops tend to overheat easly, and they are overall just crap.
But if you insist on buying a laptop, id suggest you wait till you get more money to spend so you can buy a decent laptop
