Yesterday a Horde came to raid Tyrande.
Needless to say being a fanatical Night Elf I had to come to her aid, no matter how little chance I stood. Much to my horror, though, I noticed something that just broke my heart. Malfurion... Just... stood there... And watched.. As the Horde attacked and ravaged his very own wife. http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/6672/wowscrnshot021812220402.jpg Apparently condemning his kind to death wasn't bad enough, he had to go as far as to outright reveal he is in with the Horde, and no longer with his own kind. What.... The.... !@#$? Seriously... I'm just baffled. What a freaking !#*!@@*!#! Tyrande deserves better than this good-for-nothing douche. |

No wonder he spent so much time condemning Illidan. I also found it very convenient how he had a seed for every occasion in the War of the Ancients. Then I realised--the entire war was a set-up.

well he kind of did this in seeds of faith where he wants to leave his adopted daughter to die because it is inappropriate oh and we get no responce in wolfheart when horde nearly assassinate Tyrande their and he is all chummy with the reds in the cenarion circle!

I think blizzard considers Malfurion so powerful that if he would be involved in that fight the horde would have no chance of winning. So Ego is more important game mechanics, which in turn is more important than lore, or something like that.

which is annoying, lore before super saiyans. let us have warcraft 2 level heroes, was lorthar or doomhammer gonna split the world apart with their strength? nope strength does not alone make a character, it tends to gloss over weaknesses and their personality, which is exactly what happened to Tirion and Malfurion. if malfurion was not so OP he could hapily be helping his people, and it is not to late to give him a nerf. the more damage nature takes (logging etc) the weaker he should be, and the horde logging could foce him to confront Garrosh. an awesome conflict and win win situation, don't you agree? |

yea Knaak has made some real lorelols with night elfs, however wolfheart was not as bad as his other books so I hopehe is learning from each novel. and I really think that the more nature is defiled the weaker the night elfs and druids are, remember how night elfs are so up in arms over their trees? well it would make sence if it was key to summoning their treeants and having more recources for druids to shape in combat (like roots srpinging up to ensnare people) Tirion may be damaged beyond repair though, his ashbringer is the "game over you loose" weapon, he defeated the lich king so I cannot believe he can incorperated into fighting forsaken without some retcons. I hope the brotherhood of light splits from argent dawn and becomes a prominent alliance organization with a horde counterpart full of blood elfs and such. cenarion circle could do with a split from alliance and horde, it does not fit well when the game is leaning even closer to alliance vs horde |

I always wondered if Malfurion will be fighting if the horde raid pays Darnassus a little visit, if he shapeshifts and how he fights...
Now i know. I agree, he is good for nothing coward and traitor who gave the treasure of druidism into hands of Taurens and the Horde. I plan to visit the Thnuderbluff and intruduce myself and my blade to "Archdruid" Hammul Runetotem someday... |

Yes, he just watches the fight and Horde players get invalid target if they try to attack him.
Just think about how he reacted in W3 when Maiev lied to him that Tyrande is dead and how he put aside anything else and went to save her when he learned that she still lives. And now compare him to Malfurion in WoW who cares nothing about his people's lives or even his love's life. Malfurion is not the only character who got ruined by superficial storywriting of WoW. Almost all W3 characters share the same fate. Thrall, Arthas, Illidan, Kael, Kel'thuzad and Malfurion are the ones who took irreversible damage. Tyrande and Jaina still have some little hope. Sylvanas and Rexxar are almost unaffected. |

He's got to be an Old God minion by now. He's come into direct contact with the minds of the Old Gods through the Dragon Soul and he was trapped in the heart of the Emerald Nightmare constantly been tortured by the Nightmare Lord the Old Gods most powerful Nightmare minion and the source of the Nightmare itself.
Let us kill him for god sake, it would be so sweet especially if it's us and Tyrande taking him down. Poetic justice! |

Tyrande would be a better character without him, she is forced in the kitchen in his presence which sucks.
she may never get her warcraft 3 glory but her attending thralls wedding was just painful to me as a lore fan |
