The Tier 6 Warrior belt and boots from sunwell have the wrong texture, they now look like the offset (Tier 6 black temple/mt hyjal) pre sunwell parts. What this means is that it is now impossible to make a sunwell transmog set. (I realise this bug has been around for a while, perhaps most of the expansion).
I have T6 on my rogue also and this problem does not exist, so it is simply a bug with the Warrior. Would be nice if in future the texture could be fixed and returned to the proper sunwell texture. In the upcoming bugfix patch, for example. Oh and you could re-add the lionheart executioner recipe that magically disapeared from my swordsmithing too. Along with the other magically disapearing specialisation based blacksmithing patterns. |

Hi there!
I've just given this a quick test with both the Armor and Battlegear variants, and everything looks correct to me. This can also be seen on the armory where the images of the items match up: There was a bug with these sets but it was corrected several patches ago, so it might be worth clearing your cache to see if that helps. Simply close the game down, open up the WoW folder on your computer, and delete the following two folders:
Let us know if you're still having problems. :) |

That is the problem, the belt and boots are not meant to match up with the rest of the T6 set, but instead they are meant to match up with the sunwell items. This was the case (and is still the case on other classes, like my rogue) pre cataclysm.
In black temple you would have used the offset boots/belts with your T6 gear, they match the tier set, but when sunwell came out the new T6 items (boots/belt/bracers) followed the design of the sunwell items and matched the sunwell gear. This is the bug, since the T6 boots/belt now follow the black temple design (and it even seems the chest and belt match up together in your links) it is impossible to make a transmog set using the sunwell gear. On my rogue the T6 boots and belt do not match the rest of the set, but instead they (correctly) match the sunwell items. These items should (and did used to) match the T6 boots and belt. |

Bigbazz is right. All Tier 6 set Boots, Belts and Bracers are supposed to use Sunwell graphics.
There was a bug with these sets but it was corrected several patches ago, so it might be worth clearing your cache to see if that helps. Simply close the game down, open up the WoW folder on your computer, and delete the following two folders: You didn't fix the bug, you created it. The bug you refer to didn't exist until you tried to correct it. |

I don't mean to bump (well i do) but I'd hate for this thread to fall into the abyss after a reply from yourselfs that completely missed the mark.
Can I get some confirmation that you understand the issue now? |

I have to bump this again or this stupid bug is going to stay in the game forever. I will bump it every 2days or so until I get a confirmation.

It is not the case with every class, it is only the warrior, As I have said my rogue has the T6 set and the boots/belt properly follow the sunwell design. The boots and belt were designed specifically to match the sunwell items that dropped alongside them in a raid instance that was released 1 year later.. If the items having sunwell textures was a bug then that would suggest that the sunwell textures just magically appeared out of nowhere without being designed or worked on by blizzard, just a magical bug texture that appears and perfectly matches the gearsets?. There are no other belts or boots that drop from sunwell, these items were designed specifically to match the sunwell gear. At that level in raiding a player would have been replacing the older T6 parts with the new drops/craftables and retaining their set bonuses (or not, as set bonuses werent always so great back then as they are now, it was quite viable to not use them) by using the 3 new parts that dropped in the sunwell raid. Properly geared you would have the sunwell gear + the 3 new tier 6 items, and your gear would look correct and perfectly match up. If you want to use the design of the older tier 6 items you would have used the non tier set boots/belt/bracers that dropped in black temple and mt hyjal. Pre sunwell there were no T6 boots/belt/gloves but the items that dropped in the raids followed that design pattern. Please do not post if you don't know the history or didnt play at the time as you will only cause more confusion. |

Pushing this back to the top, you did say
And I'm still having problems, I just want confirmation that you know the bug exists and understand what it is. Your initial reply gave me completely the wrong impression, which is why I feel the need to keep this going until necessary. |

This is a subject that has been raised many times in the past Bigbazz and I am fully aware of the situation. The items in question were intentionally changed to match the warrior set.
If you wish to give feedback about this, then you are very welcome to do so in our Warrior section here. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/874930/ |

But why only warrior Sunwell set has been corrupted?
Bigbazz created topic in warrior section, but there nobody helps too... And in this topic http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2793450450?page=4 And in many others at RU, EU, US and other forums. You just do not want to admit that it's a bug. Why you messed up unique items? To duplicate t6? That is the genuine t6: DD Proto We waiting this fix so long, from beginning of 4.2, where items has been broken, but you just repeats about overall set match again and again, or ignoring us, while bug will not fix itself! |
