I im so tierd of people qquing about how frost mages are OP, how many snares they have etc etc. But seriosly as a mage i know how dame week they are. I would even say they need more snares or some other utility ability to survive for long.

Its like you join bg and then get 1 shotted by anything.
And it sucks because they always target me first, its like they see me on the other side of the bg and then they all come zerg me. It does not matter if u try to run away.

Frost mages damage is okey, but when someone targets u and u have to run, its impossible to do good damage. If that is the frost mage tactic to use instant spells while running, then they have to buff ice lance and fire blast i think.


So to sum it up i think its very hard and frustating to play frost mage at the moment, the damage while running is to low and there defence are so week.

If this is not fixed soon, im gonna reroll!

Downvote for grammatical flaws. If you cannot succeed as mage, then you should reroll.

Are you really calling a spec weak because you tryed to pvp in that gear?

You will find every class/spec weak if you enter pvp in the same level of un-gemmed/un-enchanted/green gear and try to fight people who are either wearing at least full ruthless or firelands gear.

the only problem with mage imo that i have noticed from lvling, and playing against on my boomkin, is that we have alot of control and to much damage against frozen targets, the control is fine frost has always been like the but the problem is how much damage are shatters do, it looks like mists will fix this tho, making us have to choose betwen control, or damage is a step in the right direction

Yes in lower pvp I also has have problem when i meat other classes, my friend playing rogue, and he has too good damage, i can not win agiest him.

Before on my dk i dident have good gear, but at least I could survive some seconds, with mage you dont even have time to blink. I doubt that is going to get that much better later on.

Wha.. What? I suppose you are trying to ask me whether there's another caster class that requires the same amount of skill to play, as it takes to play a frost mage. Please note that I am not stating that frost mage is hard to play. Just that it's hard to master, like any other class.

Our damage is very high but we still die quickly as pve pieces tend to have more mastery than pvp, so our resilience is low. And everyone elses damage is high as well so, we are as we always have been a glass cannon.

Blizz should make a nerf to rogues and mages and for once in the history of wow, make them the weakest of all classes. They annoy me the most and annoy every1 the most.

You should try a Hunter and play with that level of gear.
