for the sake of history, mage was not very good in tbc, unless you knew how to play, the entire aspect of pvp required you to have flawless timing and cooldown control (and if you had, you'd be virtually unbeatable). A clueless mage was a dead mage, and a clueless mage still is a dead mage.

What is, I don't even, not sure if .....

Frost mages is balanced

Frost mages is nothing compared to a decent fire mage which got pretty much unlimited control like for instance on Dalaran arena they can sit behind box and dot everything and they got kill on whole team gg and ye mabye frost does insane damage but they got !@#$ survivabillity when you focus him

Wtf! have u even played a mage. I cant even snare paladins because they have freedom, so u should not QQ. Paladins also have bubble and loh. Right now its impossible for me to beat a paladin. And trust me i have tried in many duels and in bg.
And that hammer of wrath spell crits me for ****** :(

You should try a Hunter and play with that level of gear.

I did try hunter with leveling gear and its awesome :D I think its more balanced in low level pvp. I can do decent agienst other classes as hunter, best agiesnt melees. Not ferals and rogues thou if they ambush me from stealth. Its more obvoius in low level pvp to know your anti classes or what class u can do well agienst. That knowledge opens up for a whole new skillbased gameplay, also since the other classes dont have so many abilities and u know how to counter them when they occur.
For example: when i shaman trys to heal i cast shatter shot.

But is kinda fun as a hunter, i took down 3 hordes in a row, i should have frapsed it :)

just got this char 85 did my first bg as frost and i was actually feeling like a god i was kiting 2 people at once a dk and a warr i managed to kill of the dk then i got killed by the warr cause he used enraged regen

i dont know what you could think from that but i thought that was pretty damn OP lol
and pvp aint balanced around bg and 2v2 blabla but go and try to do that with another class in !@#$ gear

Freezing trap (Almost useless w/o scatter shot)

Not a bad class, just not as good as mages.

Mages are really balanced atm. I have played mage since start of tbc. People are failing really hard when they are saying that mages were balanced at tbc. I could easily take 2-3 same geared players back then and i was playing 1v2 on 2v2's bracket on around 1600 rating. Its totally impossible now but back then mages were really op. People are just jumping to mage-hate bandwagon because they got traumas from end of wotlk when cata talents came in.
