False Rumors and Abusive Behaviour

I talk on behalf of Niara. I'm sure many people will recognize the name, if you don't, feel free to move along. I will keep this short;
What once were Niara's close IC friends, turned out to be a bunch of !%*!wads that take In-Character rank demotions as an OOC offense. More so, they decided to team up, and start spreading false, outrageous rumors about an once respected and successful guild leader of the most successful Worgen guild on the server, taken for an... Let me recall... "an perverted person that keeps ERPing with everyone 24/7 and that does not care about the guild"... Roughly. I have been in contact with Niara for several months and I have possibly been the greatest source of RP for this person for quite a while now, and there were absolutely no belts unbuckled, backs bent, or loud moans. If there were, I do not know about it, which renders the accusations and rumors way... and I mean way out of proportion. The point; Niara is an ordinary person, with an ordinary life. Niara likes to draw, play other games, spend time with the family, and, until recently, lead an truly successful Worgen guild. It would be one hell of a favor if people stopped whispering and nagging and insulting and being absolutely abnoxiously, unbelievably hostile and annoying to this person. As much as I contradict myself for saying this, but I cannot stress enough how much people make this person miserable every !@#$ing time she logs on WoW. This is not about getting hostile whispers every %^-*ing second, it's basically about friends (and a lot of them, even some RL ones) turning their backs on Niara because they rather believe outrageous rumors than giving her the benefit of the doubt, especially after 7 months of providing RP events and RP in general, The Dreadhowl Pack was a really fun bunch to hang out with, I am sure many RPers can agree to this, but because three unnamed people had to decide and make a REALLY good effort on jeopardizing the efforts put into the guild. 'The !@#$ kind of friends are those, I ask you. I beg you, even people that have nothing to do with this, if you ever see Niara online, give her a hug, a pat on the back, a comfort. This is just a game, but many friends turned out to be backstabbers, and others followed with a frown and a spit, things can get rather emotional, I hope you understand. Peace. |

Well yeah, being the victim of anything from wild accusations to idle tittle tattle is never nice, so if this is indeed happening then I hope all parties can resolve things asap!
If all else fails, Gnomish arbitration is the way to go. Btw OP, you're not the Cut/Wubeh from WotLK per chance? |

So this is why.... Shame on you, you 3x unnamed persons! I expected very good RP and had plans to stumble to this bunch when i had time and when i did....I couldn't find Niara anymore.
*The warlock on the way of redemption summons a horde of sharp teethed demons to eat every backstabber they encounter sloooowwwwlly* (Not including horde rogues) |

Getting into these kind of situations is never fun. I was recently in one of them when it turned out that the people I had been in the same Skype chat with for over three years had been talking !@#$ behind my back. Though, atleast my situation wasn't related to a game which is (supposedly) about having fun and not being forced to do things for a guild while the others slack about.
Oh well, life moves on. |

Big respect for sticking up for your Pal, hope it all works out, the Internet is like Children, they can be so cruel.

If there will be a chance, I definitely will. |

Having experienced something similar myself, I'll look out for Niara and /hug (just don't tell the other Thorns, ok?)
And things do get better, if nothing else, shows you in the end who your real friends are. |

Seems like more people had / are having the same problem, I sincerely lost a bit of faith in this realm and internet humanity in general, but you people restored it! I hope everyone's problems get risolved, or if nothing else, ignored successfuly.
Peace. |

I'm pretty sure making a topic about your friends.. "Situation" is going to help a great deal.
As bad as this may sound. and if this is true that your friend does "ERP with everyone 24/7" - That is just asking for trouble. But you are quite right, she's a standard player and people should well.. grow up. |
