AoEing as a arms warrior is hard work /sarcasm.
Whereas affi locks only have decent AoE with soulburning corruption, when mobs are dying fast multi dotting isnt as efficient due to not getting ful duration DoTs.. 2nd boss in that dungeon is also a special case. not saying 9k is acceptable, but 27k overall in that heroic is pathetic as arms. If youd given us anything to go on with the warlock we could have said what the warlock did wrong |

If you knew how the fight worked & how warlocks worked, you wouldn't be supriced. When the sword is thrown at Mannoroth (at the start of the final nuke phase), he gets a debuff, that, whenever you damage him, causes high arcane damage. Warlocks got multiple DoTs, all of them ticking, proccing that Arcane damage constatly, It's no suprice. I've pulled 110-120k on that fight, and I don't deal damage nearly as often, hence not proccing the arcane thing nearly as often as a warlock or shadow priest. Also I hope you don't PvE with that spec, no improved slam or tactical mastery...? |
This. On my arcane mage getting 70k is hard work. On my priest getting 160k is quite simple |

I don't go into zerker stance because my latency is 250~ 300~ms so the timing is hard making it a dps loss. Not sure on Imp Slam though, is it really needed? |

Slam is one of your main abilitys as a PvE arms warrior.

Really? I did not know that, if it means my dps can be higher I will add it.
thank you. When do you use it though? I always have my hands full with skills atm, when do I get time to use Slam? Or does it override something else? |

Slam is used when you don't have a Taste for blood proc and Mortal strike + Colossus smash are both on CD.

Your dps should be much, much higher than that, even if the others were even worse. :p
Also; testing dps on Mannoroth is simply stupid, it's a fight where some classes have great advantages compared to others and the people who ignore the tactics will shine on the meters. It's also largely different from the dps that one would normally find in a raid or instance. You're not the only one to use Mannoroth for testing the dps though, most people tend to test their dps on the fights where exactly they shine and they've amazing buffs. |

NEVER- EVER compare : 1. dps in 5 man dungeon 2. dps between differently geared people 3. different classes to 1:1 without variables for even comparison (i.e. using Ultraxion to measure rogue dps potential as subtlety vs survival hunter would be wrong now wouldn't it ?) 4. post screen shots of random combat and claim it showing skill/class balance. And to understand how well you have performed you must understand how also other classes work on same situation. |

Up to 33k now, just by following the Warrior Forum instructions and aid from Zrenak.
I might make a good Warrior yet >:D http://i39.tinypic.com/allmxv.jpg As you can see my Whirlwind did about 300k less DPS this time, meaning I relied on other single target spells and my pet was only 7% down from 9%. So I really improved. |
