Ok , i used to love blizz and i still do, but after my friend and i stopped play yday night, he came on later to log in and it says he has been banned for botting. Seriously ? You cant get real botters banned so you banned someone for Rafing just cause he leveled to fast? what the....

The way you posted this kinda sounds someone got served. Also, you said you logged out before him, how do you know he didn't get a bot on for the night? aaaaand no one gets a 7 day ban for botting, they get permanents. |

If it was done by accident, it will likely be shown when they do further investigations into the account and such. Sometimes these things happen by accident and it will be corrected.
It really depends on exactly what was being done. |

Oh sorry that i cant really write proper, im just angry. My friend and i started Rafing 2 days ago and now today we cant continue cause he got 7 days banned for "botting".
They think he botted cause he leveled to fast...which sort of explains itself? He's Rafing with me, all we did was do dungeons. |

He will have had an email which will tell him how to appeal, if the security systems have been over zealous and a mistake made, it will all be undone. |

being banned for leveling to fast looks a bit strange to me, maybe he broke some other rules
a friend of mine levels a char 1-85 if a few days but as shammoz said, he might should check hes email for more email and call the customers service if needed :) |

"for leveling too fast" not possible, me and a friend of mine blasted to 60 (when RAF was up to 60) in mere hours, and no one said anything.

There is no 7 day ban.
It sounds like he may have been compromised. Ask your friend to attempt to login here at http://eu.battle.net and select "I Cannot Login" when he does try, and then open a ticket to the Game Masters to report it, and he will then have an investigation done for him, should it be a legitimate report. |

You made me curious.. how many levels did your friend level up before he got suspended? Myself I RaF multiboxed two Warlocks not too long ago, I leveled up from level 1 to 72 in one day, and I was 85 on both chars the day after that.. yet nothing happened to me.
I doubt he got banned for RaF'ing. :) |
