Once was in a RBG with a new priest, who kept spamming Mind Control on the enemy kill target, managing to save them 4 times. We were all frothing lunatics by the end of the game on him, and we wouldn't let him in the RBG team for months after that.

Clearly outplayed LOOOOOOOOL.

Life/death grip and the cause of most situations like that, be it BG's or arenas.

So many countless times I've been killing a flag carrier with a group and a DK grips him miles away and messes up the kill.

I once got lifegripped in WSG when I was 5 yards off the cap spot which then allowed the other team to pick up ours and run off :(.

That was hilarious :D

I remember in 4.2 we had this mage/ele shaman/resto druid team going. The resto - a good mate - had just dinged and geared his resto up and was quite new to it. We face this rogue/mage/disc team, a game full of resets and the game was going to a tie. With 2 minutes to go we kill the mage and when the rogue is at 3k life, our resto druid manages to land the perfect cyclone on the ... rogue, saving the rogues life and let the game end in a tie.

I would have had feral charge(bear) on my bars, because you only had 8 seconds on cat charge, so you could have bear charged, and one shotted the mage with anything.

EDIT: Not to mention you could have put rip up.
EDIT2: You also had pred-swiftness up.
EDIT3: You didn't use tiger's fury when you were bursting. +15% bleed damage for the duration.

That's some pretty broken matchmaking right there.
Even if you proved you had a big chance of winning- you almost did :/ he have around 500 more MMR on his team. And around 800 more rating.
Maybe you were at the same MMR that time and lost alot, or remade the team- that i don't know. Still think your MMR shouldn't be able to fight his MMR, even though you were good, other players on that MMR might be easy kills for rank ones.

All grips just become horrible weapons of mass fail in the hands of your facerolling team mates. If I had a nickel for every time I had my near-dead target gripped away from my feral druid, or gripped into my hunters melee range, or just out of range, I'd be able to afford that obnoxious yellow dragon by now, instead of having to trash talk it on public forums.

To be honest, there should be a confirmation window, like when you get summoned:
"Priestlol wants to lifegrip you away from you near-dead target"
[Accept] [Decline]

I personally enjoy these kinds of situations in battlegrounds, they just amuse me so much. I cannot count how often this happens and I am in stitches by the end :p Although I could understand you being annoyed if the life grip put you in place where the typhoon knocked you off the ledge in Eye of the storm >.<

Normally I know better than to be in that kind of LoS for a druid / shammy, but it wasn't like I had a bloody choice. XD
