What is your faction?
|
So, there are threads about what your favorite lore-character is, how you look, how your name is etc. But I'd like to know what factions there all are, and to wich one are you loyal? I'm not talking purely about Horde vs Alliance, although this may if course be your answer, but more in the lines of: The Kirin Tor, Cenarion Circle, Explorers League, or something completely else, or even fictif.
I think i'd go for the Kirin Tor. |

The Forsaken, the Horde is a very close second.
Yeah, she's boring. |

Racathor here is loyal to the Cult of the Forgotten Shadow. Not really a faction as such... Or even a single body, being broken as it is.... But still!

<= not on rp server but tend to create an image of my character in my head anyway.
With that in mind: Nu'Wun Primaraly loyalty is to her tribe. She was among the converts to shamanism inspired by thrall's heroics. If the darkspear tribe had threatened to leave the horde a few years ago would have left her very conflicted. But with Garosh's scorn of her people and thralls absence her previous loyalty to the horde has waned. She will follow vol'jin's orders to the grave. She is shaman enough to heve some loyalty to the earthen ring. While not a member she is more than willing to go out of her way to aid them with their work, recognizing that in these dark times they could very well be all that stops azeroth from tearing itself appart. |

Bilgewater with a great hate towards Steamwheedles. Also, somewhat loyal to the Horde.

Branos has been in many factions. He aided the Explorers League, the Ebon Blade, and of C
course, the Alliance. But first and for most, he thinks himself a Soldier of the Alliance, and is sworn to protect his People above all others. He views his Honour as forfit if he does not help them, as he has lost it once before. |

Khairan's somewhat loyal to Silvermoon, with a lingering attachment to the Scryers. However, he is often wary of authoritive figures unless there is solid proof that they can be trusted to make wise decisions. He could respect Thrall, but Garrosh's impulsive nature puts his faith in the Horde in a lot of jeopardy. He wouldn't go as far as to betray the Horde, but he certainly makes no small effort to stay the hell out of the war effort.
That being said, he wouldn't trust the Alliance half as far as he could throw an ogre; the Kirin Tor less so. In comparison to the factions that betrayed his people, the Horde seems like a lesser evil. |

Mikhail is a High Magus of Dalaran, he grew up in that city since he was ten years old, and trained there ever since. So he has a lot of history with The Kirin Tor and his tutors.

Gnomeregan of course!

The Earthen Ring, and a quite strong connection to the Argent Crusade.

While Arty here has a strong link with the Argent Dawn, she's lately drifted away from it, mainly due to the fact that she's realised she never really wanted to be a Paladin, but she wanted to make her Father happy. Now that he's gone, she's free to do as she pleases. So now, she's more or less dedicated to the Kirin Tor, more as a champion carrying out tasks for them than an actual Mage. Though she does like to try and learn what she can.

Eyil was loyal to the Argent Dawn/Crusade for more than a few years, but now she is loyal to the Light, her friends and herself, and this has shown in her Horde-Alliance attitude: she currently shows more animosity for the Horde for harbouring the Forsaken and blood elves with whom she has had a bad history.

Zixxle is most loyal to the horde, the Bilgewater Cartel being a very close second.
Other than that he doesn't really link himself with anyone else, even his affiliation with the Earthern Ring is rather weak. He has started to become closer with the Darkmoon Faire though, spending every available moment on the isle peddling his wares whenever it's open. Cistel, my blood elf mage used to have a strong link with the Kirin Tor back in Wrath, but has since seen that dwindle. My druids obviously tend to have a strong connection with the Cenarion Circle. My orc hunter, Takrin, has been working on Tol'Barad with Hellscream's Reach for a lot of Cata, and before that was strongly tied with the Warsong Outriders. My goblin blacksmith, Drazzo, being a Steamwheedle goblin, has strong affiliations with all of their factions, most notably Ratchet, which is where he conducts most of his transactions, and even has contracts with many alliance cities. |
