Cobalt Mageweaver Cobalt Scalebane Cobalt Whelp Cobalt Wyrmkin Have these creatures been removed from the game, ive been trying to find one, and even looked online and got the specific location from http://wow.magelo.com/en/npcs/2/ I went to the location and no cobalts to be found. I am wanting items that they drop from them |

I also did a full extensive search around all areas of winterspring and even macroed to target one should i get near one and nothing.

They were removed from the game at cata launch, I assume you're after the patterns as far as I know the only way to get them is to use the Wormhole Generator: Northrend until you get 'The underground' option then you can buy them in limited supply from the vendor there.

Kill anything level 54-56 and it might drop what you want. If you had actually said what you wanted we can narrow it down further by using www.wowhead.com

All appears to be world drops from a whole bunch of lvl 40+ mobs killing any of them should eventually yield you results.

Any advice for location to farm>?
Ive only been playing 4 months so im not an expert at ideal locations? shud i just goto a zone with level 40 ish mobs or do you know of somewhere |

http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=257 Has a list of all the mobs that wowhead's client has seen drop the items killing any of the mobs in the list will eventually get you the items you want. Browsing the list quickly looks like most mobs in winterspring and silithus and some of the mobs from un'goro crater. |

It's possible, certainly worth a try, I'd recommend stratholme, it's in the right range and you have a chance at
 Runeblade of Baron Rivendare which looks awesome for transmog and  Deathcharger's Reins which is a cool looking mount.I got both on the same run on my hunter =P his first and only run! |

I've seen the sword drop once on 25+ runs and the mount has never dropped.
edit: They look like a random drop from 48-9 to 58 mobs, I would also ask in trade chat on both factions as someone might have one they have forgotten about in their bank. offer a good amount of gold otherwise no-one will look. Edit again: and don't forget to look in the AH. |
