Alas, those of the kingless realms express ambivalence towards its restoration, so long have promises been made towards reclamation yet now, with the fall of the Lich and the destruction of the Destroyer we enter the pivotal hour of truth.

As the hour arises so does our Order, the renewal of the Gauntlet is brought about by a newly arisen Grand Master. No longer shall virtue and chivalry be glared at with scorn and scoffed at with arrogance. Forever should we lead an example of what true men are and not be slandered by promiscuous purple faced capitalists.

We mustn’t stand alone. Tarnished titles shan’t segregate the children of the north, we shall march into the fray as one and there the thunderous shriek of blades plunge into the heart of the merciless and we remember as each of Horde scum falls that we stride further from calamity. We shall bring the Lights retribution against the Shadow and its Forsaken disciples.

Good morning Alteracian Fans, the Knighthood of the Amber Gauntlet has returned! Albeit to reiterate our previous thread; the Amber Gauntlet is an ancient (according to our personally written lore) knighthood which is currently dedicated solely to the reclamation and restoration of Alterac and to bring retribution to the Forsaken. Within the Order we propose multiple positions to interested individuals.

Such positions can come under those seeking Knighthood, beginning the Order as an Aspirant whom of which can decide whether or not he wishes to squire under a Knight of the Gauntlet. Another position within the Order comes under ‘Rangers’ which are archers, sharpshooters and trackers of the Gauntlet. Finally an incredibly flexible position in the Order comes under Ancillary; Ancillaries can vary in their tasks. An ancillary could fill the role of a chef extraordinaire or even like the finest doctor Azeroth has ever behold, Doctor K, they can patch up the Orders men and their allies after battles with the fierce and vulgar Horde.

With such a variation in roles available we create an atmosphere of companionship and a taste of realism. Within our role-play we strongly incorporate RP-PvP, while at Stromgarde with the Order we’re afflicted with daily assaults by both primarily Forsaken yet also the Horde. This causes a live nature to the Guild that the story continuously progresses. The Order acts decisively and allows the men of the Order to make decisions; these decisions will alter outcomes which may be good or bad, encouraging our member’s individuality. Our role-play is mostly situated within the north, specifically Stromgarde albeit with the coming of the Borderlands Campaign we may see the Order advance beyond Thoradin’s wall or pushed back beyond the span.

You’ll find the Order tolerates races other than Humans; accepting Worgen, Dwarves and few Gnomes should they be willing. In order to join we have certain requirements that should be met in order to be able to join;

1. Typically, we expect our members to have a good grasp of the English language.

2. There is no uniform nor specific shades necessary other than the tabard albeit we don’t accept armour to be too extravagant nor ‘shiny’, for example we don’t expect a Hunter to use tier five or a Paladin to use tier seven. Those two tiers being examples of ‘shiny and extravagant’.

3. You’ll find our Guild chat to be rather open, however we all have respect for one another’s religion, race and sexuality and we expect you too as well.
