i have an idea how to stop ninjas once an for all. the idea is based on LFR loot rules and the plan was to implimate it to LFG so "tank" and so on roles 100+ on "tank" items and so on... plus there should be a instance lock so you sign up as what you are and lock you to that spec (to stop ppl from changing specs before a boss to get a roll on an item) just my point of view, sinserly a tank that is tired of missing tank loot to ninjas :P

i agree that it is a good idea :)

This sounds like an awesome idea.
So in general what you wish for blizzard to make is: Like LFR people of desired role have a +100 roll bonus on class/spec desired items. So we can stop ninja looters in Heroic Dungeons aswell as Normal Dungeons. I support this suggestion fully out, How many times haven't we been ninjalooted on most common but needed items, by kids? Too many.. +1 Sincerily, Xiz |

I totally agree that something like this should be implemented.
The roll bonus is a godsend in LFR, but now they ned to look at doing the following: - Being more specific about trinkets, e.g. to stop feral druids winning caster trinkets Perhaps they extend the loot options to: Need - I need for MS (only available if you are in the correct spec) Greed - I'll take it, but it's more for off spec Disenchant - Give me a crystal they are too dear on the AH! Pass Not fool proof, but hopefully it triggers some better ideas. |

I thought they already announced they were considering extending it to more; so you seem a bit late and being caught agreeing with yourself is just bad. However, the bonus is based on role selected not on spec so changing spec is currently meaningless for that. Stopping the off-tank from going dps for a single tank fight or forcing a lvl 20 to be in tank/healing spec would just be silly and contrary to previous designs. As for stopping druids/shamans needing on both caster and melee: there is already a proposal for that: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3269838358 |

well i dont crare that ppl point out i did multi comments on my own chars like i care just wanted it to start a comment wave... so like i /care... just hope blizz is looking in to the problem

On to the idea. A lock based on spec is something which will work very will in my opinion. However, the current problem is not with the spec, it is the ability to get a rollbonus on items that do not belong to the spec.

idd i just hope that LFR loot rules will be implymated to Dungeons... i really hate ninjas
|
|
|
It's the best idea i've ever heard!!
Blizz do something pls. |

That won't solve a thing, LFR loot rules expanded to dungeons will only make bigger trouble. It's like letting a faulty car, by a manifacturer, onto the streets and claiming everything is alright. First fix what needs to be fixed, then you can look at distributing the system to places where it could serve some purpose. |
