MRP abuse and Goldshire on Argent Dawn

Addons can be reported, it is transmitted via channels used in game. They can track it, and it is logged. If you report something in an addon that is sexually explicit it will be dealt with.

Note that to be successful, you need to report something that is actually explicit *!!*@%@ or explicit [gore?] violence. Innuendo is innuendo, and will not cause a ban or penalty, at least according to Blizzard's rules. At the same time, explicit content that goes unreported will also not cause action.
Same advice as ever. |
Really? Huh. That takes care of the troll mrp with feces for eyes then. |

Goldshire ERP its not "real" ERP its cybering mon!
Real ERPers go hidden places and stuff (also very hidden), And those trolls in sw can be annoying, but have seen bored "non-Goldshirians" Troll the RPers aswell. Well maybe the RPers learn abit dont do formation things in SW ( its the most trolled events).. |

Personally, I don't see a problem as it is right now. People will always ERP / Cyber, even if there are more strict policies against it and a larger amount of GM's monitoring (in)famous ERP places. People can make trial accounts, or just don't care and take the risk and use a normal account - whatever happens, people will keep doing this. And we should be very happy they only do it in Goldshire so there is one place we can ignore entirely, should we wish to see nothing of those ERPers.
Also, at the moment, there isn't much you can do besides reporting players and/or ignoring them. Taking all your armour off and making your character stand behind another is not a punishable offence. Blizzard made it possible and it's fully allowed should you want to. Ofcourse, using MRP to describe stuff that is against the ToS is a punishable offence, and could be reported. I, however, don't see the need really. Could be true that many 12 year olds don't have MRP, but those who have are scarred for life. Children will be confronted, and have to be, confronted by information about sex one day. Things these people are acting out in Goldshire, how weird they may be, are all forms of fetishes and part of people's sexual fanatasies. While I agree it may be a bit extreme for children to suddenly see all this stuff, parents should inform their children and teach them about these things. You can't hide it forever, rather explain it and get it over with in my eyes. Perhaps they could make 18+ servers, especially made for ERPers. Access to it could only be handed out after verification of age by showing an ID or something like that. |

And yes, many MANY viva la doro members are trolls, so am i, but only in goldshire on level one toons who are obviously ERPing. Is there any chance you could fix that quote? Because you quoted one of the trolls and accidentally put my name above it (Probably because said troll quotd me)... I'd rather not have misunderstandings arise because of it. |

Really..This again? Seriously, you should really just watch people's reaction to Goldshire, nobody gives two flying !@#$s about it, we stay out of it, so what if some minor see's it? What are you? A Moral Crusader? Give me a break.

People make it out like if a 12 year old reads some of these things, they'll go insane for the rest of their life. At worst they'll be freaked out for a while, more likely though they'll laugh and just think it's gross.
And if a parent really doesnt like the idea that their kid might stumble across stuff like that, then they shouldnt be letting them play an online game. |
