Restoration Help Please :)

Hey guys, I'm mainly looking for some advice from a pvp stand point. I'm fairly new to the scene as my guild usually focuses on the heroic side of pve, so naturally that's where I spend a lot of my time. Recently though I've taken a bit of an interest to finally getting into the whole arena craze :) and figured I'd go on my resto.
Now I have the basics down I believe, but was looking for some clarifications and guidance from a resto vet. As far as I'm aware my prio is: pvp hit cap(4 or 5% right?) I'm 1/2 for the hit from spirit anyway and reach that easily...then its res >> int >> spirit >> haste >> mastery >> crit. I haven't had the longest of times to acquire a pvp set but I managed to scrape one together in a somewhat short space of time, it's nothing special but it's packing about 4.1k res so it's good enough to start out :) Now my main question is this, other than the pvp hit cap, and the spell pen cap (240 hard?) I pretty much follow the prio order? One last thing, roughly how much haste should I be aiming to hit? Thanks all :) |
