Troll vs. Goblin for SP's?
|
|
I'm sure this has been answered a hundred times before and I'm sure I'll be frowned upon for asking it yet again for all you frequent forum dwellers, but my question is which is best for dps, the Troll racial to increase casting time every 3 minutes or the consistent increase of the Goblins?
Thanks in advance. |

i believe that trolls are better for shadowpriest pve. they basically have their own PI/ DF/ CV ( 20% haste)
First of all, you have to take in mind that dps cooldowns. (The extra dps you would get out of this by stacking it with cooldowns is dependent on gear, class, spec, ect...) Secondly, when you use it, it will give you an average of 1.11% haste over a three minute duration intervals. Therefore, if the fights are not in three minute intervals this effect will be greater than Time is Money. For example, lets say there is a 3minute and 10 second fight, (so the difference can be easily seen) in which you use the cooldown exactly when the fight begins, and exactly when it comes off cooldown. That's 20% haste for 20 seconds in a 190 second fight. 20 / (190 / 20) = 2.105... This would give you an average of 2.1% haste. (Fedas, 2011) references: http://www.wowhead.com/spell=26297 :p <3 |

I believe the dps diffrence is minior between goblin and troll you wouldn't even notice it.

So I guess it's mainly the cosmetic choice that has to be made between the two now, in that case first chance I get I'll most likely end up going troll. And now without worry of making a mistake. Thank you guys. :)

There are several reasons why I don't want to do that.
1. Guilds main issue at the moment is DPS. I know it can be fixed with more gear farming but if I can push myself then why not? 2. I love my Priest T6, but I HATE the Blood Elf ears sticking out of the helm, drives me mad. 3. Troll casting animations are also more pleasant to look at, but that may just be me. :) |
She has seen the light! Although, slight problem. Our ears stick out of the Absolution hood too. :p |

She has seen the light! and tusks :P |
It makes sense, though. The hood doesn't cover the entire face, although I will admit that it looks silly when tusks poke through plate helmets. And hey, tusks are part of our charm! <_< |
