So are pandaren so childish?! Let us find out...
|
So a lot of people are saying that " OMG blizzard why are u making an expansion like this" "OMG pandas are so dammn childish I will quit WoW OMG!"
Firstly : We don't care if u quit wow Secondly : You thing that pandas are too childish when you are playing a game that is based on cartoon graphics?Wake up people. Now what I personally think : I beleive that MoP is going to be a great expansion from what I have seen already. Yes blizzard made a terrible mistake with cataclysm because of some wrong decisions but that doesn't mean that every expansion after it is gonna be bad. From what I (again) have seen (screenshots of the places and stuff) it is going to be a fantastic and wonderful continent which everyone will love to play. Leave your opinion below ;) |

We all want to kung fu fight despite some trolls (who are bound to troll).
The graphics it seems pretty realistic to me at last over good option. Lol? Cataclysm is epic compared to the previous expansions, for me the expansions are a curve leading up in terms of graphics, gameplay and lore. And c'mon (for the trolls) pandaren are epic since warcraft. |
He just quoted a typical sentence often see in the title of threads. |

Please mister Deathknight, please tell me what I must think on a subject I really have no opinion anymore about.
Also pretty please use phrases like OMG to reinforce for the lack of substance. |
Please mister Deathknight, please tell me what I must think on a subject I really have no opinion anymore about. A bit rude, but you make the point for some people. Wow 13910 achievement points, that's a lot, grats. ^^ |

Sam Didier made his first drawings of pandas in WoW back in the 90's. The only odd thing about pandas is that it took so long to get them into WoW.
Now is a good time to introduce them, also from a corporate perspective; WoW in China is running the same version of the game as the rest of the world (that was not the case in Wrath, where they still played TBC) and the Chinese market has a lot of potential subscribers. So, it's win-win; WoW gets a whole new graphic impression and hopefully a significant boost in subscribers and those of us who enjoys the game can see it prosper for years! And btw: why shouldn't approx. 20% of the population on Earth have some kind of cultural significance in WoW? I mean, Taurens are American Indians, the Scots have dwarfs and so forth. |

Just another expansion.
Kids whine it will ruin the game, like every !@#$%^- time. Will test it out and have my own opinion about it. |

Wait what??? The Dwarves are aparantly Irish then scottish??!? @_@ Are you sure? Well it is a steriotype so i understand :) I loved the gilneans one but i dislike their tutorial... Goblins one is pure win :)

I do agree that the graphics has improved. Though I don't agree that this is a better expansion. In my opinion, TBC was the best one. So far at least. Lets see what MoP has to offer. |

as someone that started playing in TBC i think in terms of story and LORE cata wins. in terms of gameplay it isnt as good.
but yeah, the panderan have such a MASSIVE lore behind them. i mean hell, they disappeared completely off the face of Azeroth more than 10,000 years ago. they make beer and they have trained themselves harder than any other race. i know it seems kiddy and childish and too bright in pandaria. but man..... the story will be deep, and sure. some parts MAY be childish (the rabbit things). but the war, the Sha and all the other bad guys will give it the darkness it needs. |

My opinion:
Ppl are actually happier when they dont reach a goal, the longer the journy is the better. I loved the TBC modell, wotlk and cata gives everyone their goals way too fast. The incentive to keep playing is gone or fading. This creates an evil circle. Once ppl start expecting goals to come by the wink of slightest effort, patience drops. When patience is gone, ppl gets frustrated "starwars pun intented" frustration leads to the darkside..... Take a second and think about this, if ppl gets frustrated over a single flaw in others, 1 mistake makes ppl unhappy or dislike each other. What other communities also had these things in history IRL? Unless your flawless and in a certain way your no longer welcomed and left to be cast out by the majority. (vote kick system) 1939 (ppl who passed 6th grade knows exactly what Im talking about) Currently the community in wow is , in my opinion, ulgy and disgusting. My solution is to learn ppl have more patience. I would do this by putting ppls goals alot further away. Do you think Blizzard intends to do that? (making the content less accesable for casuals) Id appretiate someone sanes view on this, preferably someone who dissagree. Do you think Blizzard intends to do that? Casual isn't bad I could rly progress with my own raid as a casual but I got work at university,I still however raid with my guild.Am I bad? No,and most of casuals are not bad and are ppl you described. Making the content available to bad crybabes is the problem, today a mage joined us with landslide enchant on weapon. |

i find this statement very stereotypical not all "casuals" are bad i try my best to get the most out of my wow experience,( i know how to play my class to its maximum efficiency and know boss tactics even firelands bosses even though i have never set foot in the instance). i could not care less about getting 8/8 HC or glad ,granted glad is a permanent title and a mount, but heroic gear become obsolete as soon as the next tier is released. i just like chill out after a hard days work on skype with some friends and do bg's, dungeons and maybe the odd raid or two. |
